Story
Molly is our 3-legged go-getter! Don’t let her 3 legs fool you, this girl is full of energy and life. She is always on the go and loves to be active. Fantastic movement. Sometimes you see her, and sometimes you don’t. Molly has been owned but unfortunately her owners can no longer care for her. As a teenager, she got out of the house and was hit by a car. The owners rushed her to the vet, but the leg was unable to saved. You’d never know she only had 3 legs the way she moves! Molly is quite short, a beagle-like body but is ‘stout’. She weighs about 38 lbs and was born December 12, 2022 (so 2.5 years old). She has 1 blue eye and 1 amber eye – don’t worry, she has great vision. When she looks at you her eyes just glisten, they’re gorgeous. Molly is house trained, and crate trained. This sweet girl LOVES other dogs and would do fantastic in a home with them as she loves to run around and play. If no other dogs in the home, we strongly suggest somebody that is more active and that enjoys going on adventures, hikes or just long walks around the neighborhood. She is a people pleaser and is very loyal. She will follow you around and be your shadow, right by your side. She knows commands and learns quickly to new ones. Molly is VERY food and treat motivated and will do anything for a yummy treat. In her previous home she was around children, and she loved them! The kids always played with her, and they tired each other out. Molly is leash trained. An ideal home for Molly would be one that is more active and wants a dog that can join in that activity. She loves everyone she meets, she’s always been a house dog, and she is all around just a super playful, super loving, and a super best friend for the perfect family/person. Molly is spayed, heart worm negative, current on vaccinations, current on preventions, microchipped and will have a health certificate giving her a clean bill of health from a veterinarian. You can apply to adopt Molly at www.pawsitive-impact-animal-rescue.org

Story
Nash is one of those perfect family size pups that will fit in perfectly for any family with an active lifestyle, maybe a few young children that love to run and play and then snuggle while watching some special TV programs.  He was born around October 1st and he and his 3 siblings came to Critter Cavalry Rescue from a not so good environment and outdoor pen that was too small.  His personality is one of curiosity and excitement to learn new things and play with new people.   He is loving being inside a great foster home where he can sit on the sofa, play in a specious backyard with two fun girls over 10 years of age and then hang out with the older Beagle girls that belong to the foster family.  These puppies are always smiling and just happy to be getting the love and care that Critter Cavalry Rescue fosters promise to give. He is 25 pounds at 6 months and he is learning about potty training and crate training and how to be a little puppy gentleman while being part of the inside family activities.  He is not a runner but a fenced yard could be so safe and beneficial.  He needs training on the leash and could be so much fun to take on family hikes, or personal walks for the enjoyment of exercise and the ritual of exploring the great outdoors.  A fun event that showed just how adaptable Nash can be was when he attended a YMCA Puppy Yoga class and what fun it was.  He wandered amongst the Yoga participants saying hello and then discovering himself in the floor to ceiling mirrors that were all over the room.  He was fascinated with seeing himself. These were the most people he had been around in his life at one time!  He passed with flying colors and loved every minute as the hour came to a close and it was time to go home. He and his siblings did so well and they were so cute!!!  Sweet Nash has dreams in life and they are simple.  All he wants is to love his own people and to be loved in return.  A lifetime of promises await this little guy who will one day be a 35 pound adult that will be a treasure in your diary of the life and love of a dog.  Please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com and let us know where you live:  city and state.  We are in Tennessee and adopt locally and also transport to the Northeastern corridor of states and meet the adopting families.  PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 7, 2025, 1:14 am

Story
Meet Lil Manny – Your Personal Comedian in a Puppy Suit!  Looking for a pup who will keep you laughing, on your toes, and smitten from day one? Say hello to Lil Manny, a lovable, freckle-faced Beagle mix with white sock feet and a whole lot of charm packed into one tiny body. Born around April 20th, Lil Manny may still be a baby, but his personality is already larger than life. This little bundle of energy is equal parts mischief and love. Always ready for an adventure—or to chase his tail for absolutely no reason—Manny is a curious, playful pup who keeps everyone on their toes. He’s partially puppy pad trained (hey, he’s trying!), but like most young pups, he still has a few accidents here and there. With patience and consistency, this smart little guy will continue learning and thriving. Estimated to be about 20 pounds as an adult, Lil Manny will be the perfect compact companion for any home! And while he may be the biggest pup of his litter, he’s also adorably clumsy—often stumbling over his own feet during his epic zoomie sessions. Lil Manny is what we lovingly call “a little pistol.” He’s full of bounce, sass, and playful mischief. He LOVES his toy basket—dragging every single toy into the room like he’s throwing his own puppy party. His favorite activities include acting like a world-class sprinter, chewing on his favorite toy, giving endless kisses, and making his foster family giggle with his goofy whining antics and happy-go-lucky nature. This boy is pure sunshine with floppy ears. He’s looking for a family who will embrace his spunky energy, teach him the ropes, and—most importantly—love him forever.  Now is the perfect time to make Lil Manny part of your story—and secure a front-row seat to years of laughter, love, and unforgettable puppy shenanigans. Currently in Tennessee, Lil Manny is available for transport to the Northeast and stops along the way.  Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue to learn more: ccrtennessee@gmail.com   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJune 16, 2025, 12:23 am

Story
Meet Tommy – A Tiny Pup with a Huge Heart Tommy may be small in size, but his heart is anything but. This adorable little Beagle mix, born around April 20th, is just 6–7 pounds of pure sweetness, wrapped in soft fur and topped with the gentlest of eyes. From the moment you meet him, it’s clear that Tommy was made for companionship. He’s affectionate, gentle, and has a calm, loving presence that makes him a natural cuddle buddy. Whether he’s curled up in your lap or quietly following you from room to room, Tommy’s biggest joy comes from simply being near his people. What makes Tommy truly special is the beautiful balance he carries between being playful and peaceful. He enjoys his puppy adventures—chewing on toys, exploring the world, and even play-wrestling with a 40-pound cattle dog, which is pretty impressive for a pup his size! But unlike some high-energy puppies, Tommy has a softer side that shines just as brightly. He’s a quiet observer at times, soaking in his surroundings and thinking things through, showing off a budding intelligence that’s sure to blossom as he grows. He’s even doing wonderfully with his puppy pad training, already proving what a smart and adaptable little guy he is. Tommy will likely stay under 25 pounds as an adult, making him an ideal companion for someone looking for a smaller dog with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He’s perfect for cozy homes, warm laps, and loving routines. He adores attention, thrives on affection, and has a natural way of making the people around him feel calm and loved. He’s the kind of dog who will be your quiet shadow, your gentle snuggler after a long day, and your joyful sidekick on walks or weekend adventures. Tommy isn’t just a puppy—he’s a promise of loyal friendship, of tail wags and warm cuddles, of sweet mornings and peaceful nights. If you’re looking for a lifelong companion who will grow with you, love you unconditionally, and fill your home with comfort and joy, Tommy is ready to meet you. Currently being fostered in the Nashville, TN area, Tommy is available for adoption in the Northeast and along transport routes, with weekend transport options available.  To learn more about adopting Tommy, email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com. He is the definition of an AKD pup....All Kinds of Dog!
