She came to us very pregnant and uncertain, and an X-ray showed she was carrying four puppies. From the moment they arrived, Macy showed the world what kind of dog she is — an exceptional mama. She dotes on her babies, plays with them, watches over them carefully, and makes sure they are always safe and loved. Macy has an intensity to her affection that is impossible to miss. She will look at you with big, open, soulful eyes — the kind that seem to ask for love while offering all of hers in return. There’s a tenderness about her that tells us she likely didn’t have an easy life, and being abandoned while pregnant only reinforces that. And yet… she still trusts. She still loves. She still opens her heart to people. That kind of resilience speaks volumes about Macy’s beautiful spirit. She is sweet, gentle, affectionate, and deeply loyal. Macy will thrive in a home where she can finally be someone’s priority — where her love can be returned in full.   Meet Raymond, a remarkably handsome 3-year-old Beagle mix with a gentle heart and an old soul. At 44 pounds, he’s the perfect medium-sized companion—big enough for warm hugs, small enough for couch cuddles. Raymond’s world has recently been turned upside down. His loving family—mom, dad, and a busy, affectionate two-year-old toddler—lost their home due to financial hardship. As they move in with relatives, Raymond isn’t allowed to go. Through no fault of his own, this sweet boy will be homeless starting Thanksgiving. Critter Cavalry stepped in to give him safety and a promise: we will find this special dog the family he deserves. And make no mistake—Raymond is pure family dog magic. He adored his toddler, patiently soaking up loud giggles, sticky hands, surprise hugs, and busy playtime. His gentle nature and steady temperament make him a uniquely trustworthy companion for children and adults alike. Raymond is also wonderfully trained. He knows how to sit, shake, come when called, and crate up when asked. He loves playing fetch—bringing the ball back every time with a proud little smile—as if his greatest joy is simply making his people happy. He walks beautifully on leash, is fully housebroken, and has the most polite manners. If Raymond were human, he’d be the dad grilling in the backyard, cheering at kids’ soccer games, fixing squeaky doors, and making sure everyone in the house feels loved and safe. That’s just who he is. He doesn’t understand why he lost the only family he’s ever known—especially right as the holidays approach—but he’s handling it with grace, sweetness, and so much hope. Everyone who meets him says the same thing:   Everyone loves Raymond. He will give his whole heart to the family willing to give him a fresh start.
