Story
Minnie’s Story Minnie is a one yr old female Hound Beagle mix that was rescued as a stray from a Southern rescue. She is high energy and recommend an enclosed fenced in yard to allow her to roam freely. Minnie loves to retrieve tennis balls, soccer balls and frisbees. She loves car rides and walks. Minnie loves other dogs but can be excitable when she first sees them. She loves going to dog parks. Since Minnie is very excitable we think she should be around older kids. She got along with our older cat but a slow introduction for cats is preferred. She is highly food motivated and likes to chew so keep plenty of chew toys and treats on hand. Minnie is house trained. We have left her for no more than 4 or 5 hours at a time and she does fine with our other dog in the house. So a companion dog might be good for her to play with. She loves human companionship and sleeps in our bed at night. In summary Minnie is a high energy dog so a fenced in yard is preferred. She would probably flourish with another dog in the house for companionship. Adoption fee is $475 If you do not hear from us after a week, please reach out to Passion4petsrescue@gmail.com

At some point, Belle suffered a broken hind leg that healed crooked, leaving a visible reminder of her struggles. But Belle never let her past slow her down. She walks, runs, and plays like any other dog, and the only thing she carries from her injury is her remarkable resilience. The leg doesn’t affect her daily life, though we keep an eye on it since the skin there is thin. What truly defines Belle is not her scar, but her sweet, gentle nature and her quiet determination to love and be loved. With her soft eyes and tender heart, Belle is ready for a forever home where she’ll be cherished for the survivor she is. If you’re looking for a companion who embodies grace, courage, and unconditional love, Belle is waiting to meet you.

Everybody meet Bunnie!! This little sweetie is up for adoption and is super loving. She loves people and other dogs. She keeps her kennel really clean so we think she will be easy to housetrain. Bunnie has mid level energy and is around 40 pounds. We just don't know why she has been overlooked for so long! We do not know his backstory or why such a sweet boy would land in a shelter. We may never know.     At Critter Cavalry, we adore seniors and believe they deserve every chance to find a loving home. You won’t regret considering Buddy—he loves everyone, whether human or animal. Buddy is everyone’s best friend.     Buddy is healthy for a senior. He has limited sight and hearing, but is otherwise in good shape. He navigates his foster home easily and enjoys exploring the fenced yard. He comes when called—just use a louder voice.   Buddy is ready to retire with a couple eager to add him to their family. He’d love a fenced yard to explore—size isn’t important—and an active retirement with short walks and car rides.
