Story
Bailey is a very sweet and loving dog. She loves to give kisses and snuggles. Shes technically a senior dog but she has lots of life in her. Shes in perfect health and can run and jump up into the car just fine. She will be around for many more years. Unfortunately my husband is allergic to dogs and we just found out our daughter is allergic as well so we need to find Bailey a new home. Shes great with kids and people. Bailey is a Beagle mix with a beautiful brown coat and white paws and chest. She needs to be the only pet in the home. She's good with other dogs but only for a short period of time. She does not like cats.

Katie is around 6 yes old im guessing. She is very sweet rides in car really well. Very good with my grandson of 3. Shes a very small beagle. She was rescued from a hunter. She will need a fenced in yard or tie out line or hand walked. Suck a kind girl. I had her vaccinated and heartworm checked.

Zinnia is 1 year 4 month old Beagle that weighs approximately 20lbs. She will need a fence of some sort (electric or physical) because she has a beagle nose. As of right now she will not be entering training. Zinnia is an energetic, curious, and playful pup with a happy spirit and a hint of stubbornness. She is still learning but her enthusiasm, joy, and love for new experiences shine through in everything she does. She is good with cats and would love another dog in her forever home to play with and learn from. Meet Cruz, a 10 year old 30 pound beagle. Cruz was in a high kill shelter in Texas, and that is no place for a senior, so Project Hope pulled him and got him to Michigan so he could find his fur ever home! Cruz does have a heart murmur that is managed with medicine. He has a lot of pep to his step and gets the zoomies sometimes. Cruz gets along with other dogs and cats and would be good with children that are respectful to him. He loves to go with you for car rides. A fenced in yard is required as he likes to follow his nose to explore all the smells. He is housebroken, micro-chipped, up to date on vaccines, neutered, and his adoption fee $275.00.Cruz would make a great companion for someone. Belinda Beagle Mix came to us by no fault of her own after finding herself homeless. This is a nice, friendly girl who is good with people & other dogs. She is very sweet, happy but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. Her approx. birth date is 11/11/20 and she currently weighs 19.2#.She has been vet. checked, spayed, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. She is heart worm & tick born illness negative. She had a dental & a small benign mammary mass removed. Her adoption donation is $300 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. Adoptions are NOT first come, first served! We seek to choose the best fit for the approved adopter and pet. Please understand that these animals are still new to us and their needs and requirements can change at any time as we learn more about them. We will try our best to get them updated online as soon as possible. All dogs and puppies are given a general check-up when they enter our program. They receive medication to remove any intestinal parasites (worms), fleas, and ticks they may have. Dogs greater than six months of age are checked for heartworm. If heartworm positive, the Animal Rescue Project treats the disease. Dogs and pups receive all age-appropriate vaccinations for distemper, and dogs greater than four months of age are also vaccinated for rabies, in compliance with State of Michigan laws. All dogs are also microchipped. Most dogs and older puppies are spayed or neutered before adoption. In the case of puppies not old enough to be safely sterilized, a $50 deposit is required at the time of adoption and is refunded to the adopter with proof of sterilization. The Animal Rescue Project requires every adopter to establish an active relationship with a veterinarian no later than 10 days after adoption. Adopters will receive a plan for routine veterinary care at the time of adoption and are expected to work with their vet to complete the plan.
