Story
Gabi is a 6 yr old red and white girl. We learned she had been bounced around homes although we are unsure why. She gets nervous in a new environment but warms up to her people quickly. She is easy going. Gets along with the dogs but we have not seen her be playful yet. She is 40 lbs and could lose at least 5-10 pounds. We accepted her into our program recently when her 4th owner kept falling and being able to care for her. It had been weeks since she was let outside even. She is a sweet girl who likes affection. We do have to get her updated for vetting Adoption fee is 275 which helps cover all of the medical for all of the dogs in the rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and many have received further treatment for such conditions as lump removal, severe ear infections, dental cleanings, bloodwork, leg injuries, etc..                        We do out of state adoptions but require a submitted application, a home visit (sometimes we cannot get this done and then we can not adopt), and the adopter must come to Las Vegas to meet the potential dog(s), possibly adopt, and then drive the dog back.      Disclaimer: The SNBRF has the right to deny applications based on our adoption policies established for the consideration of the health, safety, and well-being of the dog. Beagles can have a lifespan of 15-18 years. Therefore, beagles or any other breed who are under 3 years of age will NOT be adopted to anyone over the age of 62. For individuals who are 70 years of age and older, the dogs must be 8 years or older For more information or to submit an adoption application, please visit our website at http://www.southernnevadabeaglerescue.com . We are also on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/SouthernNevadaBeagleRescueFoundation . Come meet and play with our available dogs at Las Vegas area dog parks. Times and locations can be found at http://www.meetup.com/beagles-207/ . Contact us or check our Facebook updates ahead of time if you are interested in meeting a particular dog. All our dogs are in foster homes so not all are available to attend all our park meetups. Our meetup group playdates allow you to socialize your beagle with his/her own breed at dog parks with large fenced areas where the beagles can run and play off-leash. Story
Cookie came through our rescue 4 years ago. She was Gretel then, but she knows her name Cookie by adopter, so we are keeping that name. She was returned because one of the owner's passed away and the other owner said she was more his dog and didn't want her. She is around 4-5 years of age now. She is a hound mix.  She is 60 pounds. Hounds do like to run so a bigger yard would be preferable. She gets along great with others and is a real nice girl.  She likes to play with others and toys. She does have a prey drive, although mild, caution should be taken. Who will give her a forever home? Adoption fee is 200 which helps cover all of the medical for all of the dogs in the rescue. My name is Laurel and I am quite the guy! I am a year old and I weigh about 14 pounds! They say I’m the most fun loving guy in town. My siblings and I look like beagle mixes! The whole group of us are just so sweet. I would do great with children and other animals. My sweet face says it all. For more information please text 702-409-6200

Not good with kids,
Story
Hi, I’m Florence and I’m looking for a foster home while I work through some skin issues. That means medicated baths, follow-up vet rechecks, and a strict no-chicken diet (chicken makes me itchy, so it’s a hard no for me). I do best with social, calm dogs. I can be leash reactive, but I’m a smart girl and very willing to train, especially if salmon treats are involved! I do not like to share with other dogs so, I’ll need a foster who’s comfortable with easy management like feeding separately and not leaving shared chews or toys out, helping keep everyone calm and successful. I’m a total love bug. I thrive on cuddles, affection, and being close to my people. I’m looking for a patient, understanding foster who can help me feel comfortable, stick to my care plan, and get me feeling my best.
