Story
Cookie came through our rescue 4 years ago. She was Gretel then, but she knows her name Cookie by adopter, so we are keeping that name. She was returned because one of the owner's passed away and the other owner said she was more his dog and didn't want her. She is around 5years of age now. She is a hound mix. I think maybe foxhound. She does need to lose some weight but about 5-8 pounds. She is 65 pounds right now. Hounds do like to run so a bigger yard would be preferable. She gets along great with others and is a real nice girl. Who will give her a forever home? Adoption fee is 200 which helps cover all of the medical for all of the dogs in the rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and many have received further treatment for such conditions as lump removal, severe ear infections, dental cleanings, bloodwork, leg injuries, etc..                        We do out of state adoptions but require a submitted application, a home visit (sometimes we cannot get this done and then we can not adopt), and the adopter must come to Las Vegas to meet the potential dog(s), possibly adopt, and then drive the dog back.      Disclaimer: The SNBRF has the right to deny applications based on our adoption policies established for the consideration of the health, safety, and well-being of the dog. Beagles can have a lifespan of 15-18 years. Therefore, beagles or any other breed who are under 3 years of age will NOT be adopted to anyone over the age of 62. For individuals who are 70 years of age and older, the dogs must be 8 years or older For more information or to submit an adoption application, please visit our website at http://www.southernnevadabeaglerescue.com . We are also on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/SouthernNevadaBeagleRescueFoundation . Come meet and play with our available dogs at Las Vegas area dog parks. Times and locations can be found at http://www.meetup.com/beagles-207/ . Contact us or check our Facebook updates ahead of time if you are interested in meeting a particular dog. All our dogs are in foster homes so not all are available to attend all our park meetups. Our meetup group playdates allow you to socialize your beagle with his/her own breed at dog parks with large fenced areas where the beagles can run and play off-leash. Story
Paulie Cee came to us through our rescue partners in the South. He is a busy body and an active home would be great. He does like to cuddle up too. He is a true beagle when it comes to food, although currently he can afford to put some weight on. He likes to run and play. Paulie is around 2 yrs of age.  Adoption fee is 400 which helps cover all of the medical for all of the dogs in the rescue. Story
Extra is a little girl with a big personality. Extra appears to be a mix. We think with terrier. She can jump very high. Extra is a busy body but also likes a lot of attention. She will be your shadow. She likes to sit with you (or on you) and sleep as well. She is underweight, but we prefer that to overweight. She is only 16 pounds and will remain small. She is around 2 yrs of age. She gets along with others but can easily be an only dog and likely would prefer that. She is loving and is ready to be part of a family. Will that be yours? Adoption fee is $325 which helps cover all of the medical for all of the dogs in the rescue. Story
Rocky is a senior boy. He is a mix and recently was surrendered to the shelter when his owner's health declined. Rocky had no idea what happened but he did not do well in this stressful kennel environment. The shelter then asked us to take him. He is such a sweet boy. Still has some strength and overall good shape. He listens well, is a good boy . Unfortunately after testing, we found that he has a rare form of lymphoma. We are pending appt to get into the oncologist to see what options we may have if any.  Adoption fee is 100 which helps cover all of the medical for all of the dogs in the rescue.
