Story
Puck is a 2 yr old beagle mix. He is really mild mannered and sweet. He gets along with others (dogs, cats)  and will make a great addition to any family. He loves people.  Adoption fee is $325 which helps cover all of the medical for all of the dogs in the rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and many have received further treatment for such conditions as lump removal, severe ear infections, dental cleanings, bloodwork, leg injuries, etc..                        We do out of state adoptions but require a submitted application, a home visit (sometimes we cannot get this done and then we can not adopt), and the adopter must come to Las Vegas to meet the potential dog(s), possibly adopt, and then drive the dog back.      Disclaimer: The SNBRF has the right to deny applications based on our adoption policies established for the consideration of the health, safety, and well-being of the dog. Beagles can have a lifespan of 15-18 years. Therefore, beagles or any other breed who are under 3 years of age will NOT be adopted to anyone over the age of 62. For individuals who are 70 years of age and older, the dogs must be 8 years or older For more information or to submit an adoption application, please visit our website at http://www.southernnevadabeaglerescue.com . We are also on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/SouthernNevadaBeagleRescueFoundation . Come meet and play with our available dogs at Las Vegas area dog parks. Times and locations can be found at http://www.meetup.com/beagles-207/ . Contact us or check our Facebook updates ahead of time if you are interested in meeting a particular dog. All our dogs are in foster homes so not all are available to attend all our park meetups. Our meetup group playdates allow you to socialize your beagle with his/her own breed at dog parks with large fenced areas where the beagles can run and play off-leash. Beagle enthusiasts, come bay with us..... AROOOOOOOOOOOO!  June 5, 2026, 7:51 pm

Story
Benji was purchased originally but after a year or so, his family had a baby and then kept him in a crate until they surrendered him; about 8 months. Benji is a good looking 2 yr old tricolor beagle. He gets along with dogs, we do not know about cats but no children. He gets along with children, but Benji has resource guarding. I would not trust him around children for that reason. Children are not equipped to handle that. Resource guarding is when a dog has an object, it could be a toy, or a treat, or even a napkin, whatever the item is, they growl and snarl when you come near them or try to take it away. You have to usually trade these dogs something else of value so they give up the item. If you continue to try and take it, they might bite you. If it is not something you need to take away, then steer clear from him during these times. Benji also has fear aggression. So new places and people scare him, that he reacts and again, growls, snarls and snaps. I have found this is short term. When he first came and his owners left, he turned on me and I could not get near him. I left him alone for the day, meaning he was here and could be with the dogs and do whatever, but I did not go near him. By the next day, he wanted to be near me. I was able to cut his nails and easily pet and touch him. He had a similar reaction at the vet office, but it was manageable now that I knew he had that. Benji is a great dog who loves attention and to play but he does need someone who is either experienced or willing to be patient when he is guarding or afraid.   Adoption fee is $300 which helps cover all of the medical for all of the dogs in the rescue. ** PLEASE EMAIL questions, please DO NOT call. We are a volunteer based group and are unable to handle the call volume. WE HOLD ADOPTIONS ON SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS FROM 10-4 PM at our Adoption Center. Our adoption center is located next to CAL Ranch at 232 North Jones (I-95) Suite 170. NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY, just walk right in. Rupert is about 4 yrs old and currently weighs about 30 lbs and needing to loose at least 5 lbs. His family was moving and was unable to take him with them. More will be known about me soon. FROM HIS FOSTER: If you are looking for nice guy with an adorable overbite, look no further than Rupert. He loves to ride in the car and sits quietly like a truly relaxed guy. He loves his food and treats, but ...it looks like he has a dad bod and may need to cut down on his snacks. Rupert is excited to go out on a walk and truly enjoys sniffing and exploring his surroundings. He enjoys throwing his stuffed dragon around and chasing after it. The dragon has become his bedtime buddy too. He is housebroken and will stand by the patio door to be let out. He was not interested in joining our dogs that use their doggy door. Rupert definitely wants to be near the humans in his life. He’s not a snuggle on the couch kind of guy, but he is the lay under your chair and lay next to your feet at all times kind of guy. When life becomes too much for Rupert he will go to his safe space inside a dog playpen with his bed and dragon for just a few moments before rejoining the household activity A Path 4 Paws holds adoption events at our Adoptions Center, located at 232 N. Jones Blvd, Suite 170 right next to CAL Ranch (North Jones/ I-95). Please bring your dog(s) for a meet and greet (if applicable) Please bring your entire family so everyone can meet. If you are interested in Rupert, please contact dogrescuelv@hotmail.com to confirm the dog you are interested in, will be attending that particular event. We have limited space at the store, therefore we can not take every dog out to the event. This pet comes with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org . This benefit includes free access to Petcademy's team of trainers/behaviorists, as well as access to online materials that will help you settle Rupert into your home. You can text unlimited questions to Petcademy and they'll respond within 24 hours, Monday-Friday. This pet is spayed/neutered, has current vaccinations and includes a microchip, deworming and 2 free vet visits, including a Healthy Start Certificate with the VCA Hospitals with a $250 health credit (restrictions apply). Adoption fee applies. Please make sure you have read the information listed on the homepage for requirements and restrictions. Foster homes & volunteers are always needed. Please contact us regarding how you can help by fostering or volunteering for our organization.

Story
Some dogs just love harder than others. 💜 Meet Maddie, our 6-year-old Puggle. If you’re looking for a dog who is "part of the furniture," Maddie isn't for you. But if you’re looking for a dog who will be your heartbeat at your feet, she’s the one. Maddie is a total sweetheart who is fully potty trained and a dream on a leash, but her real specialty is loyalty. She is a "velcro dog" in the truest sense—she thrives when she is with her people and can get a bit lonely when left behind. She’s looking for a home where the door doesn't stay closed for long—perhaps a work-from-home setup or a retired family who wants a constant companion for walks and tug-of-war. Ready to be loved unconditionally? Maddie is ready for you. 📩 Email: Adopt@PAWsitivedifference.org
