Story
Kendrick (approximately 34 pounds) was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in South Carolina. This super friendly guy was lucky enough to spend time in a Southern foster home, where true to his Beagle nature he loved sniffing around the yard every chance he got. He fit in very quickly with the other dogs in his foster home & adapted quickly to the routine. Kendrick sleeps through the night with no issues and wakes up cheerfully in the morning, looking forward to another day with his family. Kenny (as his friends call him) also thoroughly enjoys his food and treats - like any self-respecting Beagle - but he takes them gently and is agreeable about sharing. If you love Beagles and cannot wait to find out what's on Kenny's Beagle brain today, come meet our handsome & affectionate Kenny-boy today! If you'd like to meet Kendrick and all of his friends at the New Hampshire SPCA, please visit our Adoption Center during our open hours: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every day except Wednesdays (closed). Have questions? Call (603) 772-2921 ext. 110 or email info@nhspca.org today. Primary Color: Tri Color Weight: 15.6 Age: 4yrs 0mths 2wks

Story
🚨 PLEASE DON’T OVERLOOK MONTY 🚨 Monty is still full of love. Still full of life. Still hoping someone will choose him. Yes, he requires a special kidney-friendly diet. No, that does not define him. What defines Monty is how sweet he is. How gently he looks up at you. How he just wants to lay near you and feel safe. 🐾 Dog friendly (with dogs his size) 🐾 Extremely affectionate 🐾 Calm, loving, and gentle 🐾 On a special kidney diet He doesn’t know he has a medical note on his file. He doesn’t know that makes people scroll past. He just knows he wants to belong. Monty still has so much life in him. So much love to give. He deserves a soft bed, a quiet home, and someone willing to care just a little extra — because he is absolutely worth it. Please don’t let a manageable diet be the reason this sweet boy runs out of time. PLEASE HELP MR. MONTY TEXT KAREN 4136298152

Story
Viola is a beautiful soul that we think is about 3 year old  and a Beagle mix girl. This black and white beauty with adorable speckled legs and a sweet She only weighs 20 lbs and has the sweetest smile and absolutely loves people. She was found as a stray that was taken to the shelter very scared and almost shutdown while there. Her human mother died and Viola is now 5 years old. Unfortunately we don’t really know her story, but we feel there is some trauma there in her past. It takes her a little bit to get used to people and even longer for dogs. She wants a safe place to observe (wire crate suggested)  till she figures it out. Her foster kept her behind a gate and her bed was her safe place. For a few days she would growl through the gate at the other dogs but after that it was over. We would leave the gate open and she would venture out and if she got nervous she would go back to her safe place. She is never ugly to the other dogs at her foster and  if one of the Chihuahuas was mean to her,  she just ignored her. We have her using puppy pads because there is  no fenced yard. Viola would definetly need a fenced yard so she can safely explore and have potty breaks. The outdoors makes her nervous still. She loves her people immensely and adores  kids but older ones are best.  If you want to help and REALLY rescue a dog them Viola would be forever indebted to you.    If you are interested please email at ccrtennessee@gmail.com    PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comNovember 29, 2025, 1:51 pm
