From the moment he arrived, he’s shown a quiet acceptance of his surroundings — not fear, not shutdown — but a peaceful willingness to take things in and trust the process. He’s affectionate and sweet, enjoys gentle attention, and prefers to observe before jumping in. Luca watches the world around him with curious, soulful eyes, taking note of what’s happening rather than demanding the spotlight. There’s something deeply endearing about the way he moves through his day — steady, patient, and kind. We’ve only had Luca for a short time, so his personality will continue to unfold as he settles in. Whether he remains a quiet observer or blossoms into a more playful pup, what’s already clear is that he has a beautifully gentle nature and an easy way about him. Luca may be a Beagle mix, which would explain his soft expression, loving temperament, and thoughtful demeanor. This little one came from a hoarding situation, we are estimating to be somewhere between 6-7 years old. Being taken out of that situation when it’s all you’ve ever known is a bit of an adjustment, they have just gone into foster homes, and with patience and a bit of time we are confident they can adjust into a normal life. None of the dogs were nippy, just nervous. With this in mind we would recommend no small children or hectic households. They are all used to other dogs and a confident doggy companion in the home would be great.

As a rescue, We do not euthanize dogs but dogs that are listed as URGENT are still waiting to be saved from animal control and they do euthanise. We can only save them when space is available or have an adopter. TRAMP is a sweet boy, he has good energy, plays well with other dogs. His human let him down, he is in a kill shelter at no fault of his! He is now looking for someone the will save him, give him all the attention and love he deserves. He has a lot to offer.

Everybody meet Bunnie!! This little sweetie is up for adoption and is super loving. She loves people and other dogs. She keeps her kennel really clean so we think she will be easy to housetrain. Bunnie has mid level energy and is around 40 pounds. We just don't know why she has been overlooked for so long! Story
Luna is an approximately 9 year old small-medium sized dog. She was rescued at 2 years old from a hoarding situation, and taken into the home as the only dog, with no children. She did very well as the only the dog in the home, but does not get along with most dogs, we believe based on her history. She loves to sleep and cuddle, is house trained, and is low energy, requiring a sniff walk or some playing each day. She also responds very well to training, she’s been through 2 professional training courses. After having a child, we have seen Luna became much more anxious and we believe she truly would be better cared for in an environment without children. She is not aggressive toward kids, but she is better served by owners who do not have them. She tends to prefer women, but can live with men.
