Story
We are looking to rehome our 7 year old male beagle. We adopted him as a puppy from a breeder in western Massachusetts. We are expecting a newborn in the next month, and will not be able to provide our dog the support he needs. While he’s mostly well behaved, he is often aggressive towards other dogs in our neighborhood while on walks and needs supervision in the house. We live in a beach town, and it is especially triggering for him when he encounters unfamiliar dogs. We have tried extensive training and medication, which can make him more manageable, but it will be impossible to take him for walks and give him the attention he needs with a newborn. Our local doggy daycare who takes care of him 3 days a week has recommended rehoming him to new owners who will have the capacity to give him the attention he needs.

What defines Monty is how sweet he is. How gently he looks up at you. How he just wants to lay near you and feel safe. 🐾 Dog friendly (with dogs his size) 🐾 Extremely affectionate 🐾 Calm, loving, and gentle 🐾 On a special kidney diet He doesn’t know he has a medical note on his file. He doesn’t know that makes people scroll past. He just knows he wants to belong. Monty still has so much life in him. So much love to give. He deserves a soft bed, a quiet home, and someone willing to care just a little extra — because he is absolutely worth it. Everybody meet Bunnie!! This little sweetie is up for adoption and is super loving. She loves people and other dogs. She keeps her kennel really clean so we think she will be easy to housetrain. Bunnie has mid level energy and is around 40 pounds. We just don't know why she has been overlooked for so long!
