Douglas is a one-year-old mixed breed who is highly intelligent and affectionate, but unfortunately, he is not well-suited for our home. He needs to be the only dog. He is great with children of all ages. He loves to go on walks and is very well behaved on a leash. His favorite thing to do is play fetch! He knows many commands (sit, stay, touch, leave it, come) and has worked with a professional trainer. The trainer will honor the five remaining in-home training sessions to continue to work on his obedience. He would make an excellent companion for any home with no other animals as I am not sure how he would get along with a cat. But he must be the only dog.

Rowdy is a little shy with new people. Shes great with all dogs she meets and would be best on a home with another dog to help her adjust. Rowdy is curious in new situations, but life up until recently, hasnt been kind to her..... so she will need time to get comfortable and then her true goofy nature will emerge! Like a butterfly, Rowdy is a much different pup than when she 1st came to us from the pound, with no hope of getting out :( UNTIL the rescue chick saw me and knew i was a diamond in the RUFF ;) Rowdy needs a patient home who will give her time to warm up, open up & trust. Older kids only would be best for her and a fully fenced yard is a must. Until she settles in she'll be an escape risk. An apartment would work for Rowdy as well. She is ready for her furever family!! Apply soon! Local adoption fee is $300(in TX)
