Story
Baxter is a gentle and affectionate boy. A little on the shy side, he needs a little time to warm up. Once he does, all he wants is snuggles! He’s equally happy lounging on the couch or relaxing in his crate. Baxter is great on a leash and loves to watch birds and squirrels. He’s dog social and not selective when it comes to making friends. Baxter is great in a car, loves exploring pet stores, takes treats softly and is not a barker…he’s perfect! With his sweet nature and easygoing personality, Baxter is sure to be a wonderful companion for any person or family.

Story
Jack has been in a home with a senior gentleman for the past 16 months and now due to health issues of his owner, Jack needs a new home. Jack’s first love is the outdoors so he would need a home with a fenced yard. Jack is shy and submissive and would do best in a quiet home with a person and/or another dog that can help boost his confidence. He’s dog social and tends to watch and observe before jumping in for play. Jack is completely house trained. If you are interested in meet Jack, please contact Valerie at valjlow@gmail.com

Story
Meet little Cali. We were told that Cali and her siblings are beagle/border collie mixes. We aren't so sure about that. Cali is the only one who has the beagle look, but she has very short legs. We think that there could be a little bassett in there or maybe even corgi. Cali is being fostered with her brother, Cameron. They live to play. The run around like crazy and then crash for a bit. Cali can be a little possessive of her person (if sitting on their lap) and nips at and tries to chase away another dog if he/she approaches. She is working hard on house training and leash walking. We highly suggest reading up on her breed and note that she does have some herding instincts which means if you have children, she may nip at their heels. If you are interested in meeting this crazy gal, please submit an application. She will make you smile everyday. All current pets MUST be up to date on vaccines and spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason. www.pawzandpurrz.org RR335 Please Note: We are making changes to our Foster to Adopt process. Limited resources to follow up on pending adoptions and delays in processing payments is adding to our financial restrictions. Going forward we will collect payment when the dog is transferred to the potential new owner and will be held for an agreed upon trial time. Exceptions or extended trial times will be considered on a case by case basis and will depend upon the need or situation.

Story
Enoch is a Cavalier/Beagle mix, and he will be 5 in April. Enoch needs lots of outdoor time/exercise. Our inconsistent schedules and life with young kids has caused Enoch to lapse sometimes with his house training, but he responds well to consistency - adopter will need to be able to give him this consistency. Enoch is a fairly gentle love hound, but he can be spastic and jumps a lot, so we have kept him largely away from our kids. Enoch is not a lap dog but loves to be petted and to play. Enoch passed first level of Petco obedience training. Enoch almost never does the beagle "bay" but has a loud bark.
