Story
Barb was found in a field with her brother Hank at the end of May. They were both very nervous, but they came toward us when we called them. After about an hour, we were able to catch them and bring them home with us. They smelled like they had been living in a dumpster for weeks, so we gave them baths and made sure had plenty of food and water. They have been with us ever since, and have been given their first round of shots. The vet estimates them to be about 5 months old now. They are great with our kids, other dogs, and our four cats. They are very attached to one another, so we're keeping them here until we can find a home for them together.

Story
Sunny is a very sweet busy girl! She is great with kids (previously lived with four boys and currently being fostered with 2 girls. Ages range from 5-12) and other dogs (currently in foster with many other dogs of various sizes), house and potty trained, crate trained and VERY eager to learn more! Sunny loves to snuggle with her people! She would love a person/family that knows how to lead the way for her and direct her energy in a positive way. Sunny’s previous people reported that she is leash reactive and reactive to people coming into the home, but we have not seen this behavior since she’s been back. She’s incredibly intelligent and we suspect she gave herself job of family body guard. With that energy redirected positively, she will be an amazing companion! Sunny’s only downside is she is a hard NO for cats. Her combination of breeds has given her a strong prey drive, so she would not be safe in a home with cats. Also, due to her need to be vocal (she is a beagle!), she is not acceptable for an apartment situation. Sunny is vaccinated, spayed, and ready for her new home!
