Story
Meet Elsie, a sweet but shy beagle who is learning to trust and blossom each day. She is good with kids, but would do best in a calm home as she continues to build her confidence. Elsie also does great with other dogs and benefits from their leadership and companionship. She enjoys spending time outdoors and walks nicely on a leash, making her a great companion for relaxed strolls. She is mostly potty trained and does well when left alone, settling in with ease. Like any beagle, her curious nose can lead her on little adventures, but she’s just as happy stretching out on a big, comfy dog bed for a nap—her favorite part of the day!

Story
Doug is a lovable little hound with soulful eyes, floppy ears, and a heart full of affection. This handsome guy is equal parts curious explorer and loyal cuddle buddy. Whether he’s sniffing out new adventures, wagging his tail to greet friends, or soaking up attention from his favorite people, Doug brings warmth and personality wherever he goes. Doug is looking for a home where he can share his sweet nature and playful spirit. He’d love a family that appreciates his gentle charm and is ready for plenty of companionship, tail wags, and happy moments together. Because Doug loves having space to explore and enjoy the outdoors safely, he will need a securely fenced yard where he can stretch his legs and follow his nose. If you’re searching for a faithful sidekick with big puppy-dog eyes and an even bigger heart, Doug might just be your perfect match.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Honey Bee | 4.5 years old | Good with Dogs | Good with Cats | Good with Kids | 45lbs  Honey Bee is just as sweet as she can be!  She loves to be wherever you are, curled up on your lap, or chilling outside with you. Honey Bee is originally from Harnett County, and even after being found as a stray, and then treated cruelly and abandoned by her first fosters (not with us), she is still sweet!  Honey Bee is gentle, kind, happy to be with you, likes to walk in the kiddie pool and around the yard. She is dog-friendly, cat-friendly (tested), and kid-friendly.  With excitable dogs (see German Shepherd in photo), she will sit and wait patiently while she is sniffed.  She's pretty quiet for a Beagle.  When she sees me coming, she thumps her tail, and comes to sit at the gate quietly. The adoption fee is $400, which covers food, vetting, microchip and the spay/neuter surgery performed by a rescue-affiliated vet.  All dogs receive a wellness visit and are up to date on shots appropriate for age.  Breed and size is Pawfect Match Rescue's best guess and not guaranteed. Please go to https://www.pawfectmatch.org/animals/search? and search on the dog name to see more photos, browse the profile, and complete an application For more photos: https://www.pawfectmatch.org/animals/detail?AnimalID=22373647  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 5, 2026, 1:10 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Hi, my name is Rocky.  I am a typical beagle.  I have am the cutest, but more importantly, I will steal your heart with my love and my great big puppy dog eyes. Ideally, I will have a home with people who love me and want to get hugs, kisses, and lots of walks and toys. I am dog & cat friendly! I would do best in a home with no kids.
