Story
Princess came into my life four years ago. My daughter was living with me at the time and she brought her home from a rescue shelter. She’s a sweet girl. Anyone who’s been around her will tell you the same. We don’t know exactly how old she is. When my daughter brought her home we were told she was four, which would make her eight now but she appears older. We think she may have been abused. She’s anxious at times and has separation anxiety. My daughter relocated for work, and taking care of Princess on my own has become extremely hard, due to my own schedule and financially due to frequent daycare and boarding. Rehoming her is one of the hardest decisions but she deserves stability. Princess is sweet, loves cuddles, walks, and food. She quiet, and rarely barks or makes any noise. She does have accidents sometimes, so I think she would benefit having a family with a yard where she can go on a few walks a day. Overall, she’s an extremely lovable girl.

Story
Vanilla is the sweetest girl you'll ever meet. She loves affection so much we're not sure there's a point at which she'd want someone to stop petting her. If she had her way, you'd pet her until your arm fell off. She loves being near her people, but for such an affectionate dog, she's not big on kisses. A plus for a lot of folks! Vanilla is only about a year old, so she's still a playful young lady. She loves toys, balls, and running around the yard. She is dog friendly and absolutely adores people. Vanilla doesn't like being left alone, but she is a perfect angel sleeping in her crate at night without complaint. She loves small breed dogs and plays well with her Chi-Jack Russell & Pug-Pomeranian foster brothers. She has also made friends with some large dogs too, but you could tell she was nervous at first. Luckily they hit it off! Vanilla has enjoyed meeting & playing with children as well! When she was surrendered to the shelter her owner listed her as a Basset Hound, but we're not sure her former owner had actually ever seen a Basset Hound before. We think it's more likely that she's a Beagle, albeit a big one. Our girl could stand to lose a few pounds! Vanilla would do best in a single family home. Although she doesn’t bark a ton when her people are home, we’ve noticed she doesn’t like being left alone and barks some when she’s left. Apply to adopt this very good girl!

Story
Meet Patti the Beagle! Patti is a sweet, playful beagle mix with a lot of love to give. She is a true beagle through and through - a great snuggle dog with a beautiful “singing” voice - especially when she hears sirens. She loves long walks and is still learning her leash manners, making her a great match for someone who enjoys getting outside and helping an eager pup continue to learn. Patti is dog-friendly. Patti came to FRR as a stray, so we don’t know her full backstory. It appears she recently had puppies, and now it’s her turn to find a warm, loving home where she can be spoiled and cared for. She is a classic Velcro dog - Patti absolutely adores people, and she gets especially excited when she sees kids. Her affectionate, joyful personality shines through. Patti loves toys, her bones, and getting wrapped up in a blanket. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who loves walks, cuddles, and being close to her people, Patti may be your perfect match.

Story
Meet Bill 🐶 — a 3-year-old, 24-pound Beagle who’s mastered the art of being happy wherever his people are.Bill quickly learned the playground rules and can mesh with other dogs, but he’s just as content hanging out with people. Whether he’s nearby while you go about your day or stretched out in the comfiest spot he can find, Bill knows how to relax and enjoy the moment. He’s very treat-motivated (food is definitely his love language), and dinner time might be his favorite part of the day—except, of course, for a nice walk. With his gentle nature, easygoing personality, and love for both companionship and comfort, Bill is the kind of dog who fits right in and makes a house feel like home. 🐾💙 Did you know that when you adopt from the Maggie Society, your new family member comes with two copies of vet records. Story
Lallybroch has decided that indoor life is the life—and she’s thriving in it. At three years old, this 25-pound beagle has gracefully traded the great unknown for cozy naps, gentle routines, and plenty of love. She’s adapted beautifully to living inside and clearly understands the joys of being someone’s dog.True to her beagle roots, Lallybroch loves the freedom to explore. A walk with her is a slow, thoughtful adventure full of sniffing, investigating, and taking in the world. When her curiosity is satisfied, she’s more than happy to come back for affection—because love and closeness are very much her thing.Lallybroch would be happiest in a home that offers both: space to wander and a couch (or bed) to curl up on afterward. She’s sweet, affectionate, and quietly confident—ready to bring warmth, companionship, and a little beagle charm to her forever home.If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick who appreciates the simple pleasures of home and the thrill of exploration, Lallybroch is your girl. 💛 Did you know that when you adopt from the Maggie Society, your new family member comes with two copies of vet records.
