Meet Bill 🐶 — a 3-year-old, 24-pound Beagle who’s mastered the art of being happy wherever his people are.Bill quickly learned the playground rules and can mesh with other dogs, but he’s just as content hanging out with people. Whether he’s nearby while you go about your day or stretched out in the comfiest spot he can find, Bill knows how to relax and enjoy the moment.He’s very treat-motivated (food is definitely his love language), and dinner time might be his favorite part of the day—except, of course, for a nice walk. With his gentle nature, easygoing personality, and love for both companionship and comfort, Bill is the kind of dog who fits right in and makes a house feel like home. 🐾💙 Did you know that when you adopt from the Maggie Society, your new family member comes with two copies of vet records. All Maggie dogs are vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention prior to adoption. Your adoption fee goes towards the vetting of another dog or puppy in need. If interested in adopting, please complete an application. An approved application from The Maggie Society is valid for up to one year. It is not necessary to complete additional applications for dogs or puppies of interest if you have already been approved. Please reach out to the Maggie Society or your adoption counselor for a meet and greet!

Story
Sunny is a very sweet busy girl! She is great with kids (previously lived with four boys and currently being fostered with 2 girls. Ages range from 5-12) and other dogs (currently in foster with many other dogs of various sizes), house and potty trained, crate trained and VERY eager to learn more. Sunny loves to snuggle with her people. She would love a person/family that knows how to lead the way for her and direct her energy in a positive way. Sunny’s previous people report that she is leash reactive and reactive to people coming into the home but we have not seen this behavior since she’s been back. She’s incredibly intelligent and I suspect she gave herself job of family body guard. Sunny’s only downside is she is a hard NO for cats. She stalks my cats with intent to catch and likely kill. Also, due to complaints of barking in her last apartment, we will not be adopting her out to apartment living. Sunny is vaccinated, spayed, and ready for her new home!

Annie is a five year old female beagle with a very sweet, gentle, and affectionate personality. She has been a deeply loved companion and is well socialized and comfortable living in a home environment. This rehoming decision has been incredibly difficult and is being made solely due to changes in her owner's health. Annie belongs to a 77 year old woman whose physical health has declined and is no longer able to safely walk or exercise Annie consistently, and wants to make sure Annie has a home where her needs can be fully met. Annie is friendly, loving, and thrives on companionship. She would do best in a home where someone is home with her all day and she can receive regular walks, attention, and affection. She is not being rehomed for behavioral reasons and has been well cared for and loved. Our hope is to find Annie a kind, stable home where she can continue to enjoy an active, happy life with people who will cherish her.
