Lacey is a sweet, female, beagle mix weighing in at 48 lbs.  She was surrendered by the owner when we found out she was heartworm positive.  She is 5 years old and up to date on shots/vaccines, spayed, and microchipped.  We have started her on medication to prepare her for her heartworm injections in about 30 days.  PINC pays for these treatments.  We are looking for an adopter that has experience with heartworm treatments. Lacey is sweet, laid back, loves to be with her person, and loves other dogs.  We follow the American Heartworm Society's heartworm treatment plan and heartworm treatments are administered at Spay Neuter Clinic of the Carolinas.  We will require a fenced-in backyard for Lacey.  www.pincdogrescue.org/adopt is where you can submit an adoption application and see our adoption process. ##1101372##

We adopted Jinger when she was 8 mos old from a pet owner in Louisiana last 2017. She is turning 7 yrs old this coming December 28. She is AKC registered. She loves kids and is good with other dogs. She likes to bark, play and eat. We are hoping to find her a forever home that will love and take good care of her. AKC registered with document.

Story
We adopted Archer when we were newly weds and a friend of ours found stray puppies that her neighbor threatened to permanently remove the puppies. We decided to take him in and he has grown along with our family. Unfortunately due to a hectic work schedule and two children we feel we are not able to give Archer the attention and love that he deserves. He is a very easy going dog who loves people in general, has energy when needed but is mostly a big couch potato who loves to cuddle and take naps. He is definitely afraid of stormy weather and needs a safe space during that time and extra loving. He has never had any health issues, is up to date on his physicals and vaccines. Has never shown aggressive behavior in the 6 years we have had him. This hurts our hearts but we know we are doing what's right for him and our family. We only want a great match for him.
