Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please be sure to read Mae's bio before applying for her.Mae's life began in an unsupportive and neglectful home.  She was confiscated from her original home and brought into a county shelter.  One animal on the property had been tethered and found starved to death, and Mae was one of several other dogs that were impounded.  She was so emaciated that she wasn't far from death herself.  Mae has learned many new things in a loving and supportive foster home, and her foster family has learned a lot about her- and where she would be most comfortable.    Mae would do best in a home with another dog, she loves to wrestle and play.  Another dog her size or larger would do best, since she can be an exuberant play companion.  She completely ignores cats, so having kitties in the home would be ok too.  She definitely requires a secured fenced in yard (no underground fences please) and a home that has the capability to utilize gates to keep her safe until she has had the chance to become acclimated to her new environment.  She can be a bit nervous with new people, but she warms up fast.  She would do best in a home where all children are 12 and over, since she has had limited exposure to children.  Mae still carries memories of her past, and the one detail she is sure of is that her previous tormentor was a bald man- she is terrified of bald men,  men with hair do not seem to be an issue.  She requires an experienced family that will give her the time she needs to get comfortable and blossom into an excellent companion.    Mae is leash trained, house trained (though rainy days can be challenging), crate trained, and she rides well in a car.  She has been spayed, microchipped, and is up to date on vaccines.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 13, 2026, 9:58 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hank is a 5‑year‑old beagle mix with a heart as sweet as they come. Despite a very difficult start to life, he has held onto his gentle nature and his love for people. His past left him with permanent scarring from having his mouth cruelly tethered shut, but Hank’s spirit is remarkably intact — he greets kindness with trust, warmth, and quiet gratitude. When he entered rescue, Hank needed extensive dental care and tested positive for heartworm. He is receiving all necessary treatment, and he will complete every step before leaving foster care. Through it all, he has remained patient, affectionate, and eager to be close to the humans who show him compassion. Hank gets along wonderfully with other dogs and enjoys their company. His calm, friendly demeanor makes him an easy companion, whether he’s relaxing at your feet or exploring the yard with a canine friend. This brave boy is ready for a home where he can finally experience the safety, comfort, and love he’s always deserved. If you’re looking for a deeply sweet, resilient dog who will reward your kindness with unwavering loyalty, Hank may be the perfect match. As a beagle, Hank requires a securely fenced yard with physical fencing attached to the home. He has been neutered, microchipped, and is fully vaccinated.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 13, 2026, 9:58 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application ›   <3 A Special Note About Me       I'm part of Pawfect Match's Special Care & Rehabilitation Program. My journey is a little different than most. Some of us are healing from medical conditions. Some of us are learning to trust. Some of us have special needs or require a very specific home to thrive. While we're always open to meeting the right family, our priority is making sure we're happy, healthy, and loved every step of the way.   For me, that means it would take a truly special home—someone who understands my unique needs and is committed to giving me the life I deserve. If that person comes along, we'd love to hear from them! Until then, Pawfect Match is proud to be my safety net and my family.   My care doesn't stop after my rescue. Food, medications, routine veterinary care, enrichment, and lots of love are all part of my everyday life.   If you'd like to be part of my journey, please consider making a donation toward my daily care. Every gift, no matter the size, helps dogs like me continue to receive the second chances we deserve.   ______ Hi, my name is Rocky.  I am a typical beagle.  I have am the cutest, but more importantly, I will steal your heart with my love and my great big puppy dog eyes. Ideally, I will have a home with people who love me and want to get hugs, kisses, and lots of walks and toys. I am dog & cat friendly! I would do best in a home with no kids.  The adoption fee is $400, which covers food, vetting, microchip and the spay/neuter surgery performed by a rescue-affiliated vet.  All dogs receive a wellness visit and are up to date on shots appropriate for age.  Breed and size is Pawfect Match Rescue's best guess and not guaranteed. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Im a hug-full of Hound Meet Liliana (Lily)! Lily is a sweet and spunky 4 year old 48-pound beagle/hound mix. She is completely vetted and healthy    Lily's Best Day Lily wants to be with her people and doing whatever you do.  She also has a TON of energy and will chase a ball around for an hour-- and wear you out just in watching her TV enthusiast – yes, she really watches with interest.  She currently is rewatching Gossip Girl with her foster mama.  She really **hates** the manatees screen saver on Apple TV and will try to chase She loves to chase the Roomba, although she knows 'no' when her foster mama tells her to knock it off.  Sometimes she will go and nose Roomba to try to get it to play Collector of dog bowls – she gathers them up and bangs them around like trophies Chases her Kong like it owes her money She gets a dental bone each night at bedtime and loves it   Training & Temperament: Loves her people – with proper introductions, she greets kids and adults with a happy tail.  But if someone wants to sneak into your house-- they won't get very far with Lily on watch.  She is VERY protective once settled and can snap if she thinks her people are at risk by an unsanctioned dog or person.  Given this, Lily would NOT be good at dog parks-- she would be in cop mode the whole time.  Foster mama walks Lily carefully and gives her distance from others on the street so she doesn't feel that her pack is threatened.   Food motivated – she learns fast with snacks as rewards.  She will sit for a treat in a split second.  She is great at catching popcorn or blueberries Must be introduced to other dogs properly. While Lily lives with 7 other dogs of all ages and sizes, she will get upset if another dog is in her face.  With introductions, she gets along with most dogs Easy to groom- you can wipe her with a washcloth Crate trained and sleeps through the night like a champ.  She has the full run of the house without being destructive Fully potty trained – no accidents here!   The Vibe: Very silly and finds creative ways to entertain herself Very protective of her people.     If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate pup who will make every day more entertaining, Lily just might be your Pawfect Match!     The adoption fee is SPONSORED which covers food, vetting, microchip and the spay/neuter surgery performed by a rescue-affiliated vet.  All dogs receive a wellness visit and are up to date on shots appropriate for age.  Breed and size is Pawfect Match Rescue's best guess and not guaranteed.
