This sweet senior lady lives for attention and would happily make being the center of the universe her full-time job. Beatrice gets around on her adorably short, stubby legs, waddling her way straight into your heart. And true to her beagle roots, she’s got plenty to say about everything—she’s a world-class talker with that classic beagle mouth, always ready to share her thoughts. Affectionate, charming, and full of character, Beatrice is the kind of dog who makes every day a little brighter just by being around. Story
Melly has been a special addition to our family for about 6 years. Due to unforeseen family health circumstances, we’re heartbroken to have to rehome him. Melly is just a huge love bug. He adores cuddling in warm, cozy spots and wants all the affection you can give. He’s an old soul who thrives on close companionship. Melly is wonderful with children, but would likely prefer a calm, peaceful household at this stage of life. He likes to stay within eyesight and will experience separation anxiety when left alone. Preferably someone who works from home and can take him everywhere, as he cannot be left alone due to his separation anxiety. Another dog in the home would likely keep him calm and give companionship for the potential of leaving him. He’s fully house- and crate-trained. Melly has a history of Lyme disease, so his joints occasionally bother him—especially during cold or rainy weather—but he manages well with love and care. Melly is gun shy and CANNOT be used as a hunting dog.

Meet Trixie! This sweet 10-week-old, thought to be a Beagle mix, came into rescue alongside her momma and five siblings. Based on her mom’s size (around 30 lbs) and Trixie's current weight of 8lbs, she's expected to grow into a happy, medium-sized dog when fully grown. She’s bursting with energy and curiosity. Always ready for her next adventure, she loves playing with all kinds of small toys, though her absolute favorite is a tennis ball. She happily pushes it around with her nose or paws and chases it all over the house. Trixie also loves running outside in the snow and playing with other dogs. Like the Energizer Bunny, she keeps going and going until it’s finally time for bed. While she does take short napsthroughout the day, anything that catches her eye quickly brings her right back into play mode. When she’s worn out from a day full of adventures, Trixie enjoys cuddling during her quick napsand settling into her crate to wind down for the night. If you’re looking to add excitement, joy,and nonstop fun to your life, Trixie may be the perfect puppy for you and your family. She is spayed, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, and will be available for adoption starting 2/15/26 through Paws Across Pittsburgh, Springdale, PA KL# 16182.  ##2655287##
