Meet little Miss Cupcake 5 years old.17lbs. Cupcake came from KY from a home who bought her and her brother checkers for hunting as pups but never went, so five years the two pups where in cages outside.Until she was rescued and now in a foster home hoping to find a family who will show her love . Since being in the care of the Foster home she did have 1 accident but is doing so much better ! We let her out like we would a puppy so she can learn potty outside not inside. She does not know any commands but she seems to catch on fast! Don't let her age scare you because you'd never know she's 5. She is always smiling now I can't speak dog but I'd say she's loving the whole new living style! She is fine with cats she doesn't even bother if them. And don't mind dogs as I have 4 dogs different sizes. Does not mind chickens either! She does not howl very quit. She sleeps in a crate at night and does wonderful. She will need more work on a leash she's not terrible but getting used to it! Great with kids. She is learning what a couch is so she will not jump on furniture. Love's treats! Checkers - 21bls - male - 5 years old. Cupcake and Checkers are Siblings. Both are good with dogs and kids. No chickens please! Both Cupcake and Checkers were surrendered because the guy bought them as puppies to hunt. But, guess what, he never found any time to hunt. So, for five loooooong years, both Cupcake and Checkers lived outside, in separate wire pens. They were well fed and not abused, but sadly, they were neglected. Neither of these pups have been offered the opportunity to live in a home, lay on a dog bed or couch, feel air conditioning on a cool day or the warmth of a heated home in the winter.
