Story
Meet Claudette!she had another name previously, but she's leaving that life behind!! You may recognize her from a recent situation in Clymer where she was living in filth!! Now she is all sleek, shiny and clean! Honestly, she's so beautiful!! Now she has room to run and spend time with her sisters! As well as tell you about all of it! Claudette is good with other dogs from how she interacts with her sisters. We are told that she has been around children, and we do not know if she would do well with cats. Between she and Bernadette, Claudette is the super energetic one of the two girls. However, this girl is full of spunk and play, she can also be very vocal! (I mean...she is a Beagle). Claudette LOVES to run, that is her favorite form of play and exercise. You will also discover that this little lady is a model! She loves to pose for pictures, I mean what an icon, a girl who definitely knows her angles. Just like the rest of the Clymer crew, she is still learning to play and figure out what kind of toys she likes! This sweet girl is filled with energy and love, perfect for a forever home, don't you think!Weight: 25.6 lbs Primary Color: Tri Color Age: 1yrs 1mths 2wks

Story
Attention All Beagle Lovers Barbara is a beautiful senior girl looking for her forever family who is ready to accept all the cuddles she wants to provide. She came into our rescue after living a nomadic life.  We have been told that she once had an owner who passed several years ago and that she has been on her own since. Since coming into rescue, Barbara is coming into her own, showing that even seniors can get zoomies. Barbara is 10 years old and doesn’t need long walks or hours of play to tire her out. She really wants nothing more than to take long naps and during her waking hours, spend time with you, be it at your feet while you do chores or settle in on the couch for a Netflix binge (she will not judge). More about Barbara:  This senior girl is a nice size, a little under 25 pounds and becomes a wiggling bundle of joy when her favorite human returns home and when adventuring outside.  Barbara sleeps quietly in her crate overnight. During the day, Barbara acts like a respectable Beagle: she loves to sniff the ground and keeps track of her favorite human’s location. Barbara is respectful of both dogs and cats. Her ideal home would include a private yard for her to explore at her leisure. Barbara would be happy to be your one and only canine companion or join a family with similarly inclined canines.  Barbara’s Needs:  Barbara walks well on a leash and enjoys short walks. Barbara loves to roll in the grass and sniff the air and will be very content to sun herself while you attend to yard work. Her ideal home would give her outdoor space to explore and have a fenced in yard so that she can roll and sniff on her own terms. Barbara is still recovering from her recent nomadic period and the lack of a consistent, healthy diet. She came into rescue positive for lyme disease. And while she completed one round of antibiotics, it is recommended that she be tested again and may need a second course of antibiotics. Additionally, Barbara’s kidney levels are high and she is on medication and a diet to help regulate her bloodwork. Since coming into rescue, good food and care have brought these numbers down but her bloodwork will need to be monitored.  In addition to a like-minded canine sibling and a private yard, Barbara’s ideal adoptive family will include at least one human who is at home more often than not and is ready to provide and receive the affection that this lovable “Velcro” dog offers. Can you provide the home that Barbara needs and deserves for her senior years? Barbara is available now through Paws Across Pittsburgh, Springdale, PA 15144, KL#16182. ##2817442##

Birch Male DOB 07/02/26 Icons Working on housetraining High energy Hi! My name is Birch, and I'm one of Momma Maple's "Tree Pups"! We started out as a litter of six, but our sister Laurel was recently adopted. Now, five of us are still waiting for our forever homes! Our mom, Maple, is a petite 18-pound Beagle mix who took wonderful care of us. Thanks to her, we are all happy, healthy, and thriving. According to our DNA test, we are 54.1% Beagle, 20.6% Shetland Sheepdog, and 8.1% Dachshund, with just a sprinkle of Chihuahua, Poodle and some other breeds mixed in. Since our mom is so small, we expect to stay on the smaller side once fully grown. Meet the crew: Birch (That’s me!): The biggest boy of the bunch, weighing in at 8 pounds at 8 weeks old. I am cuddly, easygoing, and Ash’s best buddy. With my tan coat, I look a bit like a miniature yellow Lab! Joshua: Our goofy, fun "baby brother." He has adorable shorter legs—definitely the Dachshund shining through! He's always up for a good wrestling match. Aspen: She was the runt of the litter, but she has caught up beautifully. She looks the most like Momma Maple with her slim build and long legs. Aspen is smart and independent—she was the first to wean, the first to master squeaky toys, and is already catching on to potty training! Olive: A sweet, laid-back girl with the fluffiest coat of the group. Like Joshua, she rocks the low-rider look with shorter legs and loves to lounge. Ash: The coolest guy around! He has a sleek build like his momma, but foster mom says she sees a little Sheltie in his expressive eyes and cute little nose. He’s a happy-go-lucky pup who loves playtime just as much as snuggling. We are the sweetest Beagle mix puppies and all ready to fill your home with cuddles, puppy kisses, and endless love! NOTE: Dog may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI). ---------------------------- Please read our Standards for Adoption and the information about beagles and puppies before you submit an adoption application. Remember that owning a puppy is a full-time commitment and you must have the time to commit to a dog that will be with you for 12-17 years. Beagle puppies are cute - but they are very challenging. Puppies may eat your apartment (no refund of security deposit); people who are gone for more than 5 hours at a time will need to make dog walker, neighbor or doggie daycare arrangements. We discourage the adoption of puppies to families with children under the age of six, since puppies will chew toys, shoes, blankets, hands, feet and other important parts of your child's anatomy.
