If there’s a scent trail nearby, Bandit is already on the case!   Bandit loves:-Playing and wrestling with his foster dog siblings-Tug-of-war and zoomies around the house-Long walks and backyard adventures-Snuggling on the couch (or under your blankets!) He’s house trained, settles nicely in a crate, and after a day of fun, he likes to cuddle up close. He’s curious about cats but is respectful, and he absolutely adores other dogs and kids.   With his incredible nose and drive, Bandit would make an amazing hunting buddy or scent work partner— or just the best adventure BFF you’ve ever had.  As with all of our dogs, he’s neutered, chipped, and up to date on vaccinations. Cricket is an estimated 2 year old, beagle mix -weighing 19 lbs! She came from horrible conditions .... she was surrounded by bones, deceased dogs and no food. She was saved by Wolfe County Shelter in KY and never will experience that again! She does have a cherry eye that will be repaired when spayed. She is potty trained and has been doing wonderfully since being saved ##2635018##

Story
Melly has been a special addition to our family for about 6 years. Due to unforeseen family health circumstances, we’re heartbroken to have to rehome him. Melly is just a huge love bug. He adores cuddling in warm, cozy spots and wants all the affection you can give. He’s an old soul who thrives on close companionship. Melly is wonderful with children, but would likely prefer a calm, peaceful household at this stage of life. He likes to stay within eyesight and will experience separation anxiety when left alone. Preferably someone who works from home and can take him everywhere, as he cannot be left alone due to his separation anxiety. Another dog in the home would likely keep him calm and give companionship for the potential of leaving him. He’s fully house- and crate-trained. Melly has a history of Lyme disease, so his joints occasionally bother him—especially during cold or rainy weather—but he manages well with love and care. Melly is gun shy and CANNOT be used as a hunting dog.

Molly is a 2-year-old female Beagle mix with a sweet personality and a love for meeting new people. She came to us as an owner surrender after her previous family was no longer able to care for her. Despite the change, Molly has remained a very friendly and affectionate girl who enjoys spending time with everyone she meets. One of Molly’s favorite things to do is go for walks and explore the outdoors. She gets very excited when it’s time to head outside! Because of her enthusiasm, she is still working on her leash manners, but our staff have been working with her daily and she is making progress. Molly seems to do well with other dogs, but we still require a meet and greet with any dogs in the home to ensure everyone gets along and it’s the right match. The good news is that Molly also does well with cats, which could make her a great addition to a multi-pet household. If you’re looking for a sweet, friendly companion who loves people and enjoys getting out for walks, Molly may be the perfect fit for your family

Meet Lela   Lela is a sweet 3-year-old, 40 lb hound mix who has been blossoming in foster care over the past couple weeks. She’s currently finishing medication for a skin infection and is healing beautifully, and may still gain a little more weight as she settles in.   Lela loves to follow her hound nose on walks and does great on a leash. She’s very friendly with kids and people, and enjoys other dogs with a slow introduction. Despite a difficult few months before coming to rescue, Cleo’s sweet spirit shines through. She was left in a home for about seven months with two other dogs and three cats, with kind visitors stopping by daily to care for them. Because of this experience, Cleo can feel a little anxious when left alone and would thrive in a home where her person is around most of the time.
