You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Let us introduce to you a special boy named Jake.  Jake is the sweetest, kindest soul.  Jake is about 2 years old and 24 pounds.  He is great with other dogs and lived with cats before coming to H2H.  He is house and crate trained.   He didn't have a very good beginning in life and he came to us a very scared boy.  His foster family has done a wonderful job of helping him along in his rehabilitation.   He is now able to walk on a leash and is starting to play with his canine foster companions.   Jake will need a very patient home with folks who will understand that he needs patience and grace; he will need time to adjust and learn new things about the world around him. Ruby is an energetic, loving, friendly pup. She loves to run and cuddle. She is house-broken but still has the occasional pee accident. My husband and son are both allergic to her and we have had some landlord issues as well. We love her to death but unfortunately we cannot keep her. She loves to chew things and loves her squeaky toys. Fetch and “tug” are her two favorite games. She would love a large, open yard where she can run around. She has had her shots, but her last round was missed due to a family medical emergency, we were unable to get her in. It would be best for her to restart her vaccines. We will provide her crates and her favorite toys. Please reach out with any questions or interest!

Beagle Bailey has the face of a Beagle and the legs of a gazelle. He is trained to use a pet door and has been accident-free since arriving here. He's a sweet little boy that needs a family who will help boost his confidence. We think he's around a year or 2 old and he is healthy and ready to travel now. He seems to be afraid of men so a home with females or smaller quiet males would be best for him and another friendly dog would also help him feel more comfortable. This girl is 26 pounds of energy and love. She had to be captured by the local animal control officer and was prettified. She was lunging and growling and very upset. But something in her eye just pleaded for me to help her. So I picked her up from the shelter and brought her home where George (our cat) helped me show her that humans and other animals are good. George helped her calm down and let her guard down and after about an hour she was giving me lots of kisses. She is hilarious and is definitely a lover. She may need a couple of minutes to feel safe, but once she does, she is glued to you. She is extremely smart, loves to go for rides, walks and hikes or any adventure (we went kayaking) She prefers not to be left alone as she does have some separation anxiety. Her adoption fee is $325 and if transport is necessary that is an additional $200 We are hoping to find her someone local to TN. She is a special girl who will need a special mom or dad to navigate through her fears. I may end up writing a book about her as she has given me lots of great stories.
