Rowdy is a little shy with new people. Shes great with all dogs she meets and would be best on a home with another dog to help her adjust. Rowdy is curious in new situations, but life up until recently, hasnt been kind to her..... so she will need time to get comfortable and then her true goofy nature will emerge! Like a butterfly, Rowdy is a much different pup than when she 1st came to us from the pound, with no hope of getting out :( UNTIL the rescue chick saw me and knew i was a diamond in the RUFF ;) Rowdy needs a patient home who will give her time to warm up, open up & trust. Older kids only would be best for her and a fully fenced yard is a must. Until she settles in she'll be an escape risk. An apartment would work for Rowdy as well. We adopted Sherlock back in March 2017, he was born December 2016, he is 9 years old. He is the sweetest, loving, gentle, easy going dog. Over the last year he has developed severe skin allergies which has resulted in constant itching and some hair loss. We have tried everything externally that we can, i.e. Lyme dips, medicated shampoos, oatmeal baths, but we now realize that his allergies need to be treated internally in the form of medication. We cannot afford the medicine or even the vet visit to get him well. We want to do what is right for him, even if it means rehoming him so his quality of life can improve.
