Story
This is my baby Morgan. Shes an 8-month-old Beagle/Lab/Heeler mix who is house trained, great with kids, and gets along well with other dogs. Morgan is very active but also incredibly loving and affectionate and she thrives on companionship and attention. Rehoming her is not a choice made lightly. Due to unexpected complications with my landlord, I'm no longer able to keep her. My priority is finding Morgan a safe, stable, and loving home where she can continue to grow and be happy.

Story
Say hello to Shortcake 🍰 a short, stout, slightly chunky hunk of love with tiny legs, a big heart, and enough personality to fill a whole bakery. About 2 years old and likely a beagle mix, Shortcake is serving up sweetness, silliness, and nonstop affection. With her beautiful green eyes, adorable brown spots (even on her tummy!), and her perfectly squishy build, she’s impossible not to fall in love with. Shortcake is a total people dog. She adores her humans and shows it by climbing into laps, wrapping herself around you for hugs, and delivering enthusiastic face kisses. Belly rubs are her absolute favorite! She has the spot on her tummy that makes her little leg kick every time, and she will happily demand repeat performances. If you’re looking for a cuddle buddy, Shortcake is a professional. Watch Shortcake’s personality shine in her video! https://youtu.be/16035emG6XM?si=cpHD6uZt8jl46WTU She does very well with other dogs and was excited to meet everyone. Shortcake enjoys playful interactions but also knows when to take breaks and prefers dog friends who aren’t too intense or in her face. She would do best with a medium-energy dog sibling who respects her space and play style. She may need a little time to decompress in a new home before fully diving into play, but once she’s comfortable, she’s happy to join in. Shortcake loves to explore and follow her nose, which means leash manners are still a work in progress. Apartments aren’t out of the question for her, her future family would just need to be committed to continuing her leash training and helping her build better engagement on walks. A home with a yard would be a bonus, but not a requirement with the right dedication. Cats are a definite no for Shortcake! They’re just way too interesting. Shortcake did amazing during her kid test! She is very affectionate and loves being close to kiddos, often getting right up in their space for hugs, pets, and attention. Because of that, kids should be able to set gentle boundaries if she’s being a little too loving—but she is incredibly tolerant of handling and clearly adores affection, especially from children. She stayed happy, calm, and unbothered even during a full-on kiddo meltdown, showing just how patient and resilient she is. Sweet, fun, and full of love, Shortcake would make an amazing family dog in a home ready for her joyful, affectionate personality. 💕 Overall, Shortcake is a chunky little short stack of love who brings joy, cuddles, and goofy charm wherever she goes. She’s sweet, snuggly, and ready to give her whole heart to a family who will adore her as much as she adores them — belly rubs included, of course. 💕 Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
Lottie is a dream boat in every sense, all wiggle booty, soft eyes, and a sweet little love-lean that immediately makes you feel like you would move mountains to make her happy. This girl literally arrived speaking “best friend,” and had a whole crew of people fawning over her every move. That is some powerful magic. Everything about her says gentle, affectionate, and an absolute joy to be around. Want to see Lottie’s wiggle-booty charm in motion? Head to YouTube https://youtu.be/JPvzwyzn_mY Lottie is estimated to be just over 3 years old, she weighs a cool 42 lbs, and is maybe a beagle/pug/american bully? Gosh if it isn’t the cutest mystery mix though. If you still somehow need convincing that she is “the one,” here you go. Let’s talk about all her other awesome qualities. On leash she’s a sweet sidekick who adjusts beautifully to guidance, and naturally sticks close to her person. It feels natural from the first step, like “Alright, we’re doing life together now.” With dogs Lottie is just as sweet. She greets new dogs with a friendly, welcoming energy and if you happen to be standing behind her for this you will get the cutest wiggle-wag-booty-action! Its somehow a helicopter tail and a full booty bounce at the same time. With the rest of the dogs she was quite submissive and polite, and she reads the room well. With slow, thoughtful introductions, she should do well with dog friends and seems like a middle-of-the-pack pup who will happily “get in where she fits in” without needing to run the show. In the kennel, Lottie is an absolute star. She is both house and crate trained and walks right in and settles with no fuss. Just the same, once we came inside, she settled beautifully and showed us that she has a naturally low-energy. Couch potato vibes for sure! She was ready to lay down and nap within 5 minutes and she gives off strong “apartment-friendly” vibes. Small-ish, quiet, great leash manners, and sweet as a button. Cats were a “maybe” in a way that feels promising. At first she wasn’t overly interested, respectfully curious and are happy to arrange a sleepover with our Kitty Committee to confirm what that curiosity turns into once she’s fully settled. And one more detail that pretty much melted our hearts on contact, the day she came to spend the afternoon with us she rode in the car on her best-buddies lap in the backseat, the whole way.. Her best buddie is a sweet little boy just under the age of 10. As if she wasn’t already a full dream, she shows us her tender nature with kids to really solidify that. If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate, low-key little lovebug who walks nicely, settles easily, and will happily become your quiet companion with a wagging tail and a leaning heart… Lottie is ready and waiting but we know she will not be waiting long. If you are interested do not let her get away! Apply today! If you ever wanted a dog who dances for attention, has the cutest floppy ears, and acts like every human is her favorite human, well congratulations! Your search is officially over because Katniss Everdeen is exactly that. She doesn’t just walk into a room, she makes an entrance. Little paw taps, happy wiggles, and a grin that says she absolutely knows how cute she is. Whether she’s dancing her way into your heart or flashing that perfect smile, Katniss Everdeen’s personality is pure joy wrapped in a tiny, fabulous package. Basically, if happiness had floppy ears and signature dance move, it would be Katniss Everdeen. Watch her video and fall in love with this dancing diva: https://youtu.be/5wgxwQLO5Uo?si=4sBUygiJVB1JvGar Katniss Everdeen is believed to be a Beagle mix approximately 5 years old and currently weighs 16 lbs. She is rescue dog and with any rescue, it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Katniss loves people, has the best personality, and thrives on attention, obviously. She’s the kind of pup who wants to be close. Snuggling, cuddling, and handing out sweet kisses like it’s her full-time career. If you’re looking for a dog who truly bonds with her person, Katniss is your girl. What really sets her apart? Her entertainment factor is elite. She loves to “dance” and uses her paws to politely (and adorably) tap you for attention. She knows exactly how to make everyone laugh, and she expects applause. Katniss does great with dogs, big and small! There is no such thing as “too big” for this girl to make doggy friends with. She is a confident little queen and will be friends with any dog, any size. Katniss loves to play with other dogs, romp around, and wrestle. She does take a moment to warm up with new dogs and isn’t the type that is going to instantly want to play, but give her some time and she’ll be playing in no time. Katiniss also isn’t play 24/7. She loves to explore and do her own thing as well. Katniss would do great with a doggy friend that is her happy medium. Playful when the time presents itself and relaxed when it’s time for a nap. Katniss has also met our house cat Biggie and met him appropriately and was very respectful around him. She did not chase Biggie, nor was she bothered by Biggie jumping or doing what cats do. Biggie also felt comfortable around her as well. We do not know if she has ever lived in a home before with a cat and this was our first time seeing her with a cat. If you have a cat in the home, we can arrange for her to have a sleepover with a cat upon request. Just let us know! Katniss is playful, affectionate, funny, and full of love. She’s the kind of dog who makes every day brighter just by being herself and she’s ready to bring that sparkle home for good. We can see her thriving in a home with a backyard, and we also believe she would do beautifully in an apartment or condo. She doesn’t require much exercise, a simple walk around the neighborhood, playtime with her new fur siblings, or time with her human is all she needs. She’s also perfectly happy snuggling on the couch while you binge-watch your favorite show. It doesn’t take much to make her happy. She just wants to be loved, be with her people, and continue being the happy little dancing queen she is. If you’re searching for a small dog with a huge heart, endless charm, and main-character energy, Katniss Everdeen is ready to meet you! We are willing to test Katniss Everdeen with anything you need in order ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life?
