He may be blind, but he doesn’t let that slow him down. Snoopy explores the world with confidence, curiosity, and trust. He’s a happy, loving puppy who is learning, growing, and ready to form an incredible bond with the family lucky enough to call him theirs. Personality Snoopy is affectionate, playful, and full of life. He loves to explore using his other senses—sniffing, listening, and feeling his way through the world. He is incredibly loving and bonds deeply, often seeking comfort and connection with his people. He’s a brave little guy who approaches life with trust and joy. Ideal Home Snoopy would do best in a home that is patient, loving, and committed to helping him navigate the world safely. He will thrive in a stable environment where routines are consistent and he can build confidence. Owner Responsibilities Snoopy will need consistent guidance, structure, and a safe environment tailored to a visually impaired puppy. His adopter should be prepared to: Keep a consistent home layout so he can learn and navigate confidently Use verbal cues and gentle touch to guide and communicate with him Provide safe spaces and supervise during exploration Continue positive reinforcement training to build confidence and trust Offer daily exercise and enrichment adapted to his needs Like all puppies, he will also require: Frequent potty breaks and supervision Routine and structure Teething support and appropriate chew toys Blind dogs adapt incredibly well, but they rely on their humans for guidance, patience, and consistency. Things to Consider (Puppy Life + Special Needs) Adopting Snoopy means understanding both puppy life and his blindness, including: Potty training and accidents during learning Teething and chewing behaviors The need for a safe, predictable environment Extra patience as he learns to navigate new spaces Blind dogs live full, happy lives—but they do best with adopters who are committed, attentive, and willing to guide them with care. Veterinary Care Snoopy is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and will need to complete his puppy vaccine series and be neutered when age-appropriate. Ongoing care should include: Regular veterinary check-ups Monitoring his overall development and safety Preventative care such as flea, tick, and heartworm prevention Your veterinarian can also help guide you in supporting a blind dog’s long-term health and well-being.
