Tucker 2 years old Beagle UTD on vaccines Neutered Extremely fearful of humans until he gets to know you, if a guest walks near him he will try to escape Loved all other animals No plush toys or regular potty pads, he will shred them and eat them as a nervous habit. Story
Milo is a one year old beagle. He is UTD on shots and is neutered. He is learning how to dog more and more each day from his foster siblings. He is still working on potty training but getting better each day. He does not yet walk on a leash and is still fearful of people. He loves toys, especially his giggle ball. Milo is extremely smart which adds to him being a flight risk/escape artist so secured home and yard will be essential.

Story
Gentle Beagle Mix (Bennie, 7 yrs) Needs Loving Home – Owner Entering HospiceBennie is a sweet, easygoing 7-year-old hound mix looking for a new home due to his owner entering hospice care. This is a really hard decision for our family, and we’re hoping to find him a safe, loving place to land. Bennie is medium-sized with a classic scent-hound look—likely a Beagle mix (possibly with Pointer or Coonhound).About Bennie:* Neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations* House trained* Good with kids* Limited experience with other dogs/animals* Generally calm, affectionate, and likes to be near people* Good appetite, no known medical issuesBennie is a pretty chill dog who enjoys hanging out and being part of the household. He’s still working on leash training but does well using a gentle leader. He would likely do best with someone who can give him a bit of structure and consistency. A calm, stable home where he can get attention, companionship, and regular exercise.

Story
Meet Scotty: the littlest beag with the biggest personality! He moves fast, plays rough, airs his grievances loudly, takes treats enthusiastically, and snuggles like it’s his full time job. Scotty’s favorite activities include chasing his foster siblings around the yard, lounging in the sun, bursting into the bounciest zoomies you’ll ever see, and curling up under a blanket after a long day of being adorable. He loves neck scratches, chew toys (current favorites include Benebones and puppy teething rings), and cozy corners to nap in. Scotty’s family will need to continue his potty, leash, and crate training. He would do best in a home without small children, as loud noises and quick action make him nervous. Scotty is approximately one year old, weighs about 20lb, is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and on monthly prevention. He is good with other dogs with appropriate introductions, and has not yet met any cats or children. Please note: Our beagles are former lab dogs. Before you apply, make sure you do your research and understand what that will mean when bringing them home (we're going to ask!). These dogs will need time, patience, and positive reinforcement while they learn to exist in our world. Applications will remain open until 6/28. We will review and process applications that seem like a good fit the week of 6/29 and will schedule virtual screens as an application is approved. We anticipate a high volume of applications, so please be patient as our all-volunteer team works through them. All of the above is subject to change as needed.
