Story
Chestnut is a beautiful 9 week old mixed breed female puppy. She weighs about 10 pounds. Her mom weighs 25 pounds, but her dad is unknown. We would expect her to be medium size when fully grown. She has a beautiful golden and black coat. Chestnut is a sweet, friendly puppy who cannot wait to have a home of her very own in WI. She gets along great with kids of all ages, other dogs of all sizes, and is sweet, affectionate and playful. She has started her potty training skills in Texas, however she is just a young puppy living in a foster home, therefore her new family should be prepared to do additional training while she learns the routine at his new home in WI. She is up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and she comes with her medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies her to be in good condition. Her adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee.
