Enzo is a young, active boy with a fun-loving spirit and a bright future ahead of him. His family was unprepared for his high energy and changing work schedules have made it difficult to give Enzo the time, structure, and attention he truly deserves. They have made the difficult decision to help him find a home better suited to his needs and energy level. Enzo has lived successfully with a female Shepherd, a small male dog, and older children. He enjoys companionship, activity, and being part of the family. As a typical young Doberman, he is intelligent, energetic, and eager to stay busy. He will thrive in a home that can provide continued training, daily exercise, mental stimulation, and consistent guidance as he matures. Whether it’s walks, adventures, playtime, or learning new things, Enzo is happiest when he’s engaged with his people. Home Visit: A volunteer will schedule a home visit to assess the environment and discuss your expectations. All household members, including children, must be present.(uniteddobermanrescue.org) Veterinary Reference Check: Provide contact information for your current veterinarian. All existing pets must be spayed/neutered, current on vaccinations, and on heartworm preventative.(uniteddobermanrescue.org) Meeting Dogs: Once approved, you'll have the opportunity to meet adoptable dogs in their foster homes. If you have a resident dog, consult with the foster about bringing them along. Adoption Finalization: If a suitable match is found, you'll sign an adoption contract and pay the adoption fee. Due to COVID-19 precautions, same-day adoptions are currently permitted.
