Since then, Nellie has been adopted, and heartbreakingly, let down...twice. Yet, through it all, she’s never lost her trust, her sweetness, or her incredible capacity to love. Nellie is smart, strong, and endlessly loyal. She’s house trained, crate trained and already knows her basic commands like sit and down. She loves going for walks, chasing a ball, or keeping a watchful eye on the squirrels and bunnies that cross her path. Give her an active day, and she’ll happily curl up afterward for a cozy nap right by your side. What makes Nellie so special isn’t just her beauty or her smarts, it’s her heart. Despite the uncertainty she’s faced, she greets each day with hope and affection, ready to give her whole heart to someone who will finally keep her safe. Nellie has met many children and is incredibly sweet and gentle with them!
