Story
I adopted Ginger from the Humane Society 2 years ago. She was probably 4 months old. I love her but I am having a couple of problems. We do not have a fenced in yard. She is energetic and I do walk her a few times a day. She is reactive to kids on scooters and bikes. She wants to chase them..... We have had probably $2000 worth of lessons so I guess the problem is me. She is sweet. Could we find a farmer who wants a dog?

Story
I adopted Garth three years ago from the Humane Society. We have been living in apartments together, but now, Garth is looking for a new home. Garth is such a good dog. He is a friend, protector, and great for cleaning up leftover food. He is very independent and can be left alone for a good amount of the day, but he also loves to frolic and play! He would be very good in a family situation, but he has also made an excellent companion for me living by myself. About Garth: About 4 years old Adopted from the Humane Society Great energy, playful, and loving Has completed professional training lessons Good with routine and enjoys staying active Very sweet and bonds well with people My life is changing as I am getting married and moving, and I can no longer support Garth like I would love too. I know the best thing I can do is find him a new loving home! Please let me know if you have any questions!

Story
My name is AJ and I am estimated to be between 3-5 years old.    I feel so blessed that I was able to get into a rescue after being picked up as a stray and sent to a shelter.    Shelters and rescues all over the country are full so I am very lucky to have been rescued. I am an all natural boy with a full tail.    Sometimes I like to chase it! I am friendly and playful.   I am an adolescent male who needs training and patience.    I need to go to a home with people who have current Doberman experience who have the time and patience to work with me. I cannot go into a home with little dogs or cats. If you are interested in me please go to www.doberescue-ne.orgAll of our dogs are current with all shots, are on heart worm preventative monthly and are neutered/spayed. All dogs are tail docked. All of the above Dobes are pure breed Dobermans unless otherwise noted. We hope you can find a place in your heart and your home for one of our rescue Dobes. Please Note:In most cases we require a fenced yard.We do not place our rescue dogs in homes with very young children (under the age of 8 years). We set these limitations, not because of aggression issues with our dogs, but because Dobermans are generally large, active dogs and can easily knock down, run over or easily trip a small child, causing a serious fall. Also, we reserve the right to refuse adoption for any reason. Our adoption area encompasses Nebraska, Iowa and South Dakota.Copyright © 2007 - Omaha Doberman RescueFor more information or to fill out an adoption request please visithttp://www.doberescue-ne.org/March 16, 2026, 11:02 pm
