Story
Cayde is the goodest boy. I have been his Mom since he was 8 weeks old. He has always been a bundle of energy! He loves to be right by your side, protecting and sharing your life. He loves to play fetch, likes to be chased, and play tug-o-war. After a divorce, my ex had him for two years. After this experience he needs some extra attention and is more anxious. A lot of the anxiety is crate anxiety. Since we got him back this is much better. Now going into a room without him and closing the door, he will lay right outside (or try to open the door- which he can do!). We are only re-homing him due to city restrictions for our area. He has been fully trained: sit, lay down, shake, and roll over. He has attended formal defensive/protective training, but gets easily distracted and doesn't always do the best with listening. He was raised with cats. He has lived with a few breeds: huskies, yorkies, and australian shepard. Considering his anxiety he should be slowly introduced to new dogs.

Story
My name is Ruby and I am just a year old. I am a pretty black and tan girl who loves people and other dogs.(We don’t know about cats) I have a lot of energy, and love to play. Playing is my favorite thing along with eating and short naps! I want to have fun! I need to go to a family who has experience with the needs and energy of a young Doberman and who will have the time and patience to commit to taking me to training. I hope Santa will bring me a forever family for Christmas. I am ready to start a new life. Please go to the rescue website at www.doberescue-ne.org and review the rules and adoption area and then place an application for me if you are interested. All of our dogs are current with all shots, are on heart worm preventative monthly and are neutered/spayed. All dogs are tail docked. All of the above Dobes are pure breed Dobermans unless otherwise noted. We hope you can find a place in your heart and your home for one of our rescue Dobes. Please Note:In most cases we require a fenced yard.We do not place our rescue dogs in homes with very young children (under the age of 8 years). We set these limitations, not because of aggression issues with our dogs, but because Dobermans are generally large, active dogs and can easily knock down, run over or easily trip a small child, causing a serious fall. Also, we reserve the right to refuse adoption for any reason. Our adoption area encompasses Nebraska, Iowa and South Dakota.Copyright © 2007 - Omaha Doberman RescueFor more information or to fill out an adoption request please visithttp://www.doberescue-ne.org/December 21, 2025, 1:02 pm
