Romeo is a big, handsome Rottweiler who truly embodies the term gentle giant. His buddy Juliet was quickly adopted, and now Romeo is patiently waiting for his perfect someone. He is incredibly sweet, calm, and affectionate.Romeo does best with a slow and steady routine and enjoys slows walks on leash. Romeo would thrive in a home with older children or other calm, low energy animals who match his relaxed personality.Over the time he has been at FDHS, Romeo has shown himself to be well mannered, confident, and easygoing. He is friendly with staff and volunteers and has not shown any issues with other shelter dogs. With the right home, Romeo will be a loyal and loving companion, the kind of dog that any Rottie lover would be proud to call their own.Romeo would do best in a home with no cats. Romeo is ready for a home where he can heal, relax, and continue to show off his sweet, gentle nature.**Neutered. heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccines & monthly prevention. Weighs about 95 lbs**

This is Miss Fig, the ultimate lover girl.Fig has a stunning black coat with warm caramel markings and that perfect white blaze down her nose. Although she’s total head-turner, she is more than just looks. Fig is affectionate, well-mannered, and such a sweetheart. She recently went on an overnight home trial and was described as pure perfection. She behaved like an angel and seems to have a fantastic grasp of house training. Unfortunately, the potential family had an unknown dog allergy and Fig had to be returned due to no fault of her own. She is a dream on leash, enjoys lounging on a tie out, and loves frolicking around a fenced yard. Fig came to FDHS with another dog, so she has the potential to make furry friends, though she can be a bit reactive with some of the more intense dogs. She passed her cat test with flying colors and would likely do great in a home with cats. As always, slow introductions with other animals in the home is absolutely essential for success. Fig is a devoted, loving girl who just wants to be the best girl she can be. We know whoever ends up with this sweet thing is going to be incredibly lucky! **Spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccines & monthly prevention. Weighs about 55 lbs**
