Story
Meet Irma- Your New Best Friend!Irma is a sweet, loyal companion with a heart full of love. Whether she’s lounging on the porch, curled up in her cozy bed, or sitting patiently at your feet while you work, Irma is happiest just being near her people – or at least within sight. She loves snuggling up on the couch and would enjoy a yard to play in. My favorite toy is a rope toy or anything I can chew!Irma is fully house trained and loves rawhides and peanut butter. Clever and curious, Irma quickly figured out the doggie door and loves exploring the world around on her walks, where her natural curiosity really shines. She’s great on a leash and gets along beautifully with the resident dog, making her a fantastic playmate or peaceful companion. while Irma does have anxiety with thunderstorms and bad dreams, she’s happiest with a predictable routine. She knows all of her basic commands, including `sit` and `come`.Irma greets you at the door with a wagging tail and a whole lot of love. She’s always ready for a good belly rub or relaxing pet session. Her calm presence is a perfect addition to any home looking for a sweet, devoted furry friend.Irma is ready to share her heart – are you ready to meet her?Adoption Fee: $FREEThis dog would greatly benefit from a foster home where they can continue to thrive and blossom. Texas faces one of the most severe pet overpopulation crises in the country. Thousands of healthy, adoptable animals enter overcrowded municipal shelters every year with limited resources and few outcomes. Lifeline of Galveston County is a nonprofit, foster-based rescue founded to change that reality. We focus on: Saving at-risk cats and dogs from overcrowded shelters Supporting neonatal kittens and medical cases Providing community resources that keep pets out of shelters Advocating for humane, lifesaving solutions across our region The pet you’re viewing is incredibly lucky to be safe in our program, and even luckier that you found them. Setting You & Your New Companion Up for Success We are committed to long-term success for both adopters and animals. When you adopt from Lifeline, you also receive: Ongoing support from our team Access to our adopter community and resources Guidance on decompression, slow introductions, and adjustment Rescue pets often need time, sometimes weeks or months, to fully settle in and show their true personalities. We look for adopters who understand that patience, structure, and love make all the difference. Our Impact Since opening our adoption center, Lifeline of Galveston County has helped over 1,800 pets find loving homes, and we’re just getting started. When you adopt from Lifeline, you don’t just save one life, you make room for the next animal who desperately needs help. Together, we create second chances. 📲 Follow Our Journey Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/lifelinegalvestoncounty Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/lifelinegalvestoncounty Tiktok: https://www.tiktok.com/@lifelinegalvestoncounty Disclaimer: Breed type is determined based on appearance and behavioral characteristics and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA testing was performed prior to intake.

Story
Aberdeen is a happy-go-lucky girl who lives for two things: water and tennis balls. If it splashes, she’s in it, and if it bounces, she’s chasing it—usually with the speed and determination of a professional athlete. (Seriously, don’t challenge her unless you’re ready to lose.) When she’s not busy perfecting her doggy paddle or collecting tennis balls, Aberdeen is all about making friends. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and has a way of turning playtime into a party. With her playful spirit and big, loving heart, Aberdeen is the kind of dog who makes every day brighter—and a lot more fun. ##2291421##
