Story
This dog is a courtesy post. This dog is intense, motivated, and environmentally confident, with substantial drive and endurance. He thrives on engagement, movement, and purpose, and is best suited for a handler who enjoys developing structure, control, and clarity within drive. What he offers: Very high work and prey drive Strong engagement and willingness to push through pressure Athletic, fast, and physically capable Confident in new environments Suited for sport or working outlets with clear structure Important considerations: Lacks early foundation in boundaries and impulse control Struggles with frustration and delayed access Can be vocal and intense when blocked May redirect under high arousal without skilled handling Requires clear, consistent management and regulation work He has a rough early history that will be discussed to serious inquiries. He is sound, functional, and able to work without restriction. This dog is not appropriate for a pet-only home or inexperienced handlers. He will do best with someone comfortable working through frustration tolerance, arousal management, and foundational control rather than relying on heavy corrections. With the right handler and structured outlet, this dog has the potential to become a strong sport or working partner. He needs purpose, clarity, and an experienced hand to channel what he already has. ##2722786##

Story
Hello good people! My name is Kalou and here is a little info about me: Breed: MalinoisAge: 1.5 yearsGender: Spayed femaleWeight: 20 kgCountry of origin: LebanonHighlight(s): Loyal, affectionate, and full of life I’m a bright, loving girl with a big heart and lots of energy to share. I’m always ready for fun, cuddles, and new adventures! I was found on the side of the road, barely holding on. My body was weak and thin from being left behind, forgotten by the person I once trusted. Even though I was exhausted, I held on, hoping someone would see me—and they did. I was given a second chance, and now I’m ready to find a family who will never leave me behind again. I’m super friendly, affectionate, cuddly, resilient, and bright. I love being around people and other dogs, and I bring warmth and joy wherever I go. Despite everything I’ve been through, my spirit still shines. I would thrive in an active home that understands my breed and can give me the mental and physical stimulation I need. A home with space to run and play would be perfect for me. Energy Level: High I get along with:Dogs: YesCats: UnknownKids: Yes Fears: None observed. Please be patient as I adjust to my new home. Training: Some. I’m eager to learn and would love to continue training with you. Leash Skills: YesHouse Trained: Not fully—like a typical Malinois, I need structure, stimulation, and guidance to succeed. Health NotesI am spayed, fully vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated. I am healthy with no known medical issues. My adoption fee is $850.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. This includes my transportation to Canada, if I am able to be accompanied by a flight volunteer directly to Vancouver. Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems. Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs. Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. While most dogs find escorting passengers flying directly to Vancouver, some will find flights through Toronto or  Montreal. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 - $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs. You will NOT be asked to pay a passenger fee on top of the cargo fee. [MID-EAST] *Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza. Bordetella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East. [TURKEY] Dogs from Turkey receive a 4D SNAP test to include Leishmania, Heartworm, Ehrlichia, & Anaplasma, as well as Giardia, Parvo, Corona & Distemper. ##2720229##

Story
Meet Kevin! He is a 1 and a half ‑year‑old Malinois cross who is ready to find his forever home. True to his Malinois roots, Kevin is happiest when he has a job or activity to do. He loves any activity that challenges his sharp mind and expends some of his boundless energy, whether that's long hikes, agility, obedience practice, or interactive play sessions. Exercise, and plenty of it, preferably side by side with his guardian, is paramount to his happiness. Daily games of fetch and plenty of training to exercise his brain will keep this goofy guy very content.Kevin is a loving companion, so he struggles when she is left alone for long periods of time and will vocalize when he is lonely or excited. He has shown some interest in playing with other dogs, but he is a very strong and large boy who doesn't always know his own strength so he may be better suited to a home where he can either be the centre of attention, or a home with another energetic large breed dog. Because of his excitable nature, Kevin is not well suited to a home with small children. Kevin is best suited to a highly active home that appreciates his need for both physical exercise and mental stimulation. He would thrive with adopters who enjoy outdoor adventures, structured training, and spending quality time with their dog. In return, Kevin offers unwavering loyalty, a playful spirit, and the joy of watching a brilliant, sensitive dog flourish. If you think Kevin could be a good fit for you, please fill out an application below.https://spca.bc.ca/survey/dog-adoption-application-kamloops/*TIP: We encourage all applicants to write a little bit about themselves when prompted. Leaving these questions empty inhibits our ability to make the best match possible, and drastically effects the likelihood of receiving a call back.* Primary Color: Sable Secondary Color: Brown Weight: 28.7 Age: 1yrs 1mths 1wks

Story
My name is Ms. Marley and I am an affectionate, sweet, playful, smart, and quiet 3 year old gal. I am part Belgian Malinois and part Labrador retriever. I weigh about 62 lbs and I measure about 20 inches at my shoulder. There is a good chance that I will greatly benefit from a 'job' within my family home. After all, my breed background is to be a working dog. I am not likely to be a dog who sits in front of the fire and just relaxes most of the day.  When I was about four or five months old, I got a viral enteritis causing diarrhea. My then “owner” didn’t want to spend the money to get me treated so I was dropped off at the terrible shelter in Wuhan, China. The terrible shelter wouldn’t take me because they didn’t want to spend the money treating me either. A really nice lady volunteer took me to her vet to get me treated and brought me to her shelter. I have been at her shelter for about a year. I am a good girl who loves to play, being still a young pup. I get along very well with the other dogs and I also love my rescuer and her family. I so long to have a family I can call my own and to flourish with them. I'm told that I am very trainable. So far, I have some leash-walking skills and I have a nice relationship with my rescuer's young daughter. I don't know any cats so I'm not sure how I would be around them. I have been spayed, microchipped, and immunized. My adoption fee is $800.00 CAD plus applicable taxes.  Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue.Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters.
