Story
My name is Ms. Marley and I am an affectionate, sweet, playful, smart, and quiet 3 year old gal. I am part Belgian Malinois and part Labrador retriever. I weigh about 62 lbs and I measure about 20 inches at my shoulder. There is a good chance that I will greatly benefit from a 'job' within my family home. After all, my breed background is to be a working dog. I am not likely to be a dog who sits in front of the fire and just relaxes most of the day.  When I was about four or five months old, I got a viral enteritis causing diarrhea. My then “owner” didn’t want to spend the money to get me treated so I was dropped off at the terrible shelter in Wuhan, China. The terrible shelter wouldn’t take me because they didn’t want to spend the money treating me either. A really nice lady volunteer took me to her vet to get me treated and brought me to her shelter. I have been at her shelter for about a year. I am a good girl who loves to play, being still a young pup. I get along very well with the other dogs and I also love my rescuer and her family. I so long to have a family I can call my own and to flourish with them. I'm told that I am very trainable. So far, I have some leash-walking skills and I have a nice relationship with my rescuer's young daughter. I don't know any cats so I'm not sure how I would be around them. I have been spayed, microchipped, and immunized. My adoption fee is $800.00 CAD plus applicable taxes.  Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue.Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website. ##2053001##

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to Vancouver & Toronto💟 Meet Horang🐯 (Horang means Tiger in Korean) 💙 Adogs News Account: @_adogs_ 1.) Health Condition * Spayed. * Heartworm negative. 2.) Rescue Story * Horang waited a long time for a family at the Cheongju City Shelter, but no one adopted her. As her holding period had expired, she was at risk of euthanasia. Fortunately, Adogs rescued her just in time. 3.) Basic Information * With People: Is a bit shy and feels uncomfortable with people at first. When she gets used to them, she welcomes them, and barks happily as if displaying her feeling of intimacy! * With Dogs: Growls at new dogs at first and expresses discomfort. Recently shows her reluctance to go to where other dogs gather. Feels uncomfortable when she has to share a living space and tries to avoid going there. Does not chase after other dogs nor attack them, though. Has recently shown persistent interest in a new friend, so we are focusing on training to address the issue. * With Cats: When encountering cats on a walk, she gets very excited and runs to chase them. Sometimes shows aggressiveness at them, so caution is needed. * Separation Anxiety: Currently lives at our center, so it's hard to know for sure. * Potty Training: Is 100% outdoor potty trained, even though she is staying alone in her separate kennel. * Walks: Loves walks, especially running or trotting ones! Sometimes gets excited and pulls on the leash hard during walks. Occasionally chases after a small dog or cat as running at them. Is currently learning one by one while getting walk training! * Car Sickness: Still being observed, but so far, doesn't seem to get car sick. * Bark: When seeing other dogs go out for a walk, she sometimes barks to express her desire to go out. * Like: Loves treats and walks! * Dislike: With a lot of other dogs, she gets very uncomfortable and may become stiff due to the discomfort.

Story
**About Mini:** Thank you for your interest in adopting Mini. Please know that Mini is an international rescue through Taiwan. When your application is approved, you will need to pick her up from the airport - such as SFO, SEA, JFK, LAX, IAH, YVR, etc. International adoption is not a complicated process and we‘ve done the process for many years. We would be happy to explain to you how the process works. Mini's Rescue Story Personality: Mini is absolutely the most perfect FMD (Formosan Mountain Dog) we have ever encountered. No word describes her better than "perfect." Mini was once tied up with a heavy chain outside a house. The house was empty—no one lived there. The owner had simply tied Mini and another dog there, often leaving them without food or water. Since both dogs were chained and unable to forage, they could only bark for help. It was these barks that a member of our rescue organization heard while passing by. The rescuer tried to find the owner but quickly realized the house was abandoned. Neighbors said the owner only came by occasionally. Because the dogs were chained on private property right by the door, the rescuers couldn't take them immediately, so they committed to bringing them food every day. One day, the rescuer saw Mini wandering outside alone. Unsure why she had been abandoned, Mini was just moving aimlessly, sniffing for food, and even approaching people for attention. When she saw the rescuer from a distance, Mini recognized her. She quickly ran over and immediately lay on the ground, rolling onto her belly to show affection. Knowing Mini had been deliberately abandoned, the rescuer took her home immediately. What makes Mini so incredible is how incredibly smart and friendly she is. She immediately learned to use pee pads indoors and was accurate every time. Her calm, non-confrontational, and incredibly optimistic personality means she gets along wonderfully with people (including children), cats, and other dogs! Mini's rescuer summarizes her by saying: "Goofy, great natured, and very easy to care for." This perfect personality makes her an ideal match for both first-time and experienced families. Mini spent her early life chained up and hungry. Now, she is ready to find her forever home—a home that can give her the warmth and love she has always deserved. If you are interested in Mini, please contact us anytime!

My name is Sorme, and here is a little info about me:Breed: Shepard mix (possibly Indian Pariah/German Shepherd mix)Age: 2 1/2 yearsGender: FemaleWeight: 26 kgHeight: 20 inches Country of origin: Middle EastHighlight(s): Sweet, obedient, great with kids and dogs, fast learner A little about me:Hello, my name is Sorme! I’m a sunshine soul with big ears and a bigger heart! I love cuddles, treats, and learning new things that make you smile. I was found as a tiny, frightened puppy wandering the streets of the Middle East—hungry, alone, and unsure of the world around me. I didn’t know what love felt like… until kind humans took me in, gave me warmth, safety, and the care I desperately needed. Now, I’m ready to share all the love I’ve been saving up with my forever family. I’m very friendly, obedient, and a fast learner. I love people and other dogs, especially kids who like to play! I’m eager to please and always up for a game or a cuddle. My heart is full of trust and joy—I just need a loving home to give it to. I'd do well in a home that enjoys companionship and is looking for a smart, affectionate dog. If you have other pups or kids, I’ll fit right in. I haven’t met cats yet, so I’m not sure about them, but I’m open to new friends!More About Me: Energy Level: Moderate to High —I love walks, playtime, and learning tricks, but I’m also happy to relax near you after a good day. I Get Along With: Dogs: Yes! I love doggy friends. Cats: Unknown – I haven’t met any yet. Kids: Unknown – Yes! Fears: None observed, but please be patient as I adjust to my new environment. I promise to blossom with your love. Training: Leash skills: Yes, but please continue to guide me in my new home.House trained: Yes but please continue to guide me in my new home. Health Notes:I am healthy and ready to go!I have been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adoption fee is 800 CAD plus applicable taxes. Due to the present confrontational Middle East environment where this dog resides, airlines are minimally operating. He/She may therefore be delayed in arriving to Canada. He/She will eventually be sent, but we have no specified timeframe at this moment. If you are willing to wait, we and this dog appreciate your patience. Most passengers from the Middle East now require a fee to accompany a dog on a flight. Due to this, if a rescuer finds a flight with this requirement, we will contact you to see if you are willing to pay the passenger. You are under no obligation to do this. If not, another flight will need to be searched for, though there is no guarantee a free or lower cost one will be found. Though oft times a passenger is requesting higher amounts, the fee will not exceed $250. Our rescuers work extremely hard finding flights and spend tremendous amounts of money caring for and sending these dogs to safety. They simply haven't the extra money to cover this. Thank you for your understanding. Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue. More information can be found on our website.  [MID EAST DOGS] *Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza. Bordetella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East. ##2365208##

Story
Good day! I'm MARLIN (Martin) and here is a bit of info about me: Breed: German Shepherd / CannanAge: 8 yearsGender: MaleWeight: 56 lbs / 25 kgHeight: TBDCountry of origin: IsraelHighlights: Handsome, energetic, smart, smiley, active Check out this smile! After seven long years of waiting in a shelter, I’m finally ready to bring my endless energy and happy spirit to a yard of my very own. Confiscated from a neglectful home when I was just a year old, I’ve spent the last seven years living in a local shelter. While it’s been a long wait since 2018, I’ve never lost my happy, smiley spirit. It is finally time for me to find a real, stable home environment where I can belong. I am a very smiley and happy boy! Being a smart pupper, I’ve already mastered basic training like walking with a halti, heel, sit, down, and place. I’m quite energetic and live for the outdoors, never saying no to an adventure. While I can play nicely with other dogs, being a bit selective means I’d honestly prefer to be the only resident dog in my forever home, more attention for me!I’m even a brave boy who stays calm at the vet's office. My dream is an active family with an experienced owner who can continue my training and review what I know.Since I’m happiest outdoors, a home with a yard would be perfect to help me slowly acclimate to living inside.Because I’ve lived in a shelter for so long, a house is a new concept to me, so a little time and patience to understand that "home is a great place to be" is all I ask. See me in action: https://youtu.be/Ua0EzZr-qNchttps://youtu.be/Lr8EJ2Zkc1I.  https://youtu.be/udM_Cc-MOgk. Energy Level: high Fears: unknown/none observed. Please be patient assisting me in my transition. Training: Leash skills: yes. Please be prepared to continue training.House trained: No, as I live in a shelter environment. Please be prepared to help me learn! Health notes:I’m healthy, neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adoption fee is $650.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. This includes my transportation to Canada, if I am able to be accompanied by a flight volunteer directly to Vancouver. Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue.Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 - $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs. THIS IS A COURTESY POST. PLEASE CONTACT THE PERSON OR GROUP LISTED BELOW. THIS IS NOT A LOVED AT LAST DOG.   Please contact Shannon at  shannonmatley1@yahoo.com or  512-581-2334 for more information or to adopt. Adoption available to Pacific NW residents too. Hi everyone, I am the lovable Lucky and here's some information nabout me: Age: 1 yearBreed: German Shepherd/Husky mixWeight: 42 lbsHeight (ground to shoulder): 24 inchesAge: 4 yearsGender: Female My rescue story starts in Texas, where I was dumped from a pickup truck on a country road. I ran after the truck to catch up with my people, but I couldn't catch up, so I stayed on the road, not knowing what to do next. The experience had me so frantic, I was running back and forth. I just couldn't believe what had happened to me. Fortunately a lovely lady witnessed this and came to my rescue and took me to her house. She also took me to the vet to get me fully vaccinated, spayed and tested for heartworm (fortunately negative). I was on my best behaviour at the vet and even did well with the car ride. I love to run with the big dogs and adore all people, including older kids. Very small kids and cats would not be good combinations, just because I would be too energetic for them or might want to chase cats - seems like a fun game! I am also house and kennel trained and walk well on leash. My foster has been teaching me commands like 'sit' using food, which is a great motivator for me. As a clever girl, I tend to get a bit bored easily, so I will adore a household with people I can interact with. My current foster says that I bring a great deal of joy to their family and I know that I will be the best dog ever for my new adopted family. Will you be the one? An adoption fee of $100 applies.
