Story
Meet Effie! Effie is a sweet, 4-year-old girl with a big heart and an even bigger love for people. She’s a high-energy, playful pup who absolutely lives for human attention and affection. If there’s a lap, a hand ready for pets, or someone willing to give her some love, Effie wants to be right there! She may be a little shy when you first meet her, but give her a little time and patience, and her sweet personality quickly shines through. Once she warms up, she’s eager to be your best friend and will happily soak up all the pets and cuddles you’re willing to give. Effie is also a smart girl who already knows sit, down, shake, and come. She’s friendly, affectionate, and ready for a family who will appreciate her energetic spirit and give her plenty of love, attention, and companionship. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate best friend who thinks being close to her people is the very best place to be, Effie might be your girl!

Story
Meet Vanya! a stunning 1yr+8mo Belgian Malinois mix who was born right here at our rescue and spent her crucial first year in a loving foster home. Because of her time in foster care, she already knows the rhythm of household living making her transition into a new environment that much smoother. Vanya is a sharp, capable girl who thrives when given clear structure, daily purpose, and strong handler guidance. She does have a manageable medical condition called mild megaesophagus, which requires an adopter maintaining her specific feeding routine to keep her healthy and happy. Because Vanya takes time to feel secure with new people and environments, she requires slow, proper introductions and an adult-only home without young kids. Experienced handlers who understand working breed mindsets and value canine education will find an exceptionally loyal, intelligent, and devoted partner in Vanya!

Story
(I am located in Overland Park Ks) My friend called me one day asking if I wanted a dog that was just abandoned at their store and of course I said yes. She is about 3 years old. She needs to be in a home where not a lot of strangers come in and out or you will need to crate her due to her starting to nip at people she doesnt know' ankles. I would describe her as calm, gentle, cautiously adventurous and slightly playful.

Story
Apollo is approximately 1 years old. An EMbark DNA test shows Apollo is Belgian Malinois/Dutch Shepherd/German Shepherd mix. Apollo is a goofy, total love bug with a good puppy energy level. He knows basic commands, walks well on a leash, and is normally neutral to other dogs. Apollo is a euthanasia survivor from Miami Dade Animal Services. #A2690586 arrived at the shelter as a stray and due to his size and energy level, he quickly made it on the euthanasia list. He was adopted into the wrong home that let him down after less than 24 hours and later rescued by a volunteer. Two months after being out of the shelter, Apollo decompressed from the stressful shelter environment. He bloomed into a well natured puppy that seeks affection and has a beautiful play style. A DNA test was done on this stunning boy that revealed a wonderful blend of working shepherd breeds: Belgian Malinois, Dutch Shepherd and German Shepherd. Apollo does not react to other dogs but also does not actively engage to play with them. He prefers human interaction but can be introduced to other dogs and coexist peacefully as long as he has his space. He is crate and potty trained and likes the water. He still has puppy energy and would do better in a home where he is not alone for long periods of time. Apollo has been in board and training for over a month and needs to continue to bloom into an active and loving family. Apollo is available for meet and greets in South Florida and has been evaluated by 2 trainers who are available to provide feedback on his personality and potentials. If you live in Florida and you're interested in adopting Apollo, please complete our foster/adopter application online at https://form.jotform.com/241102582838152 and someone will be in touch! Story
Kiara lost her owner to cancer. He was a police officer and gave her to a friend that had to recently move to a single room and could not take her. He was so desperate to not find her someone to take her that one of our volunteers spotted him with her off a busy street w a sign he made where he wrote "Free". She has been in our care since her birthday where she had just turned 5yrs old. She is very smart, sweet, loves to play with her stress ball and does well with other bigger dogs. ❤️ Let's find this beauty a home with experience.
