Story
I’m Chispa — a 9-year-old Belgian Malinois/Shepherd mix with plenty of spark still left in me! 🔥 Don’t let my age fool you — I love to stay active and have energy to spare when it’s time for a walk, play session, or a good game of fetch. I’m also friendly and affectionate once I get to know you, and I’ve still got that playful, happy-go-lucky attitude that keeps life interesting.I came to the shelter after my owner’s health declined, and while I’ve lived peacefully with another dog and a cat before, I haven’t loved meeting cats here — so I might be hit or miss in that department. I’d do best with respectful dog friends and humans who understand my boundaries.Speaking of which — I can be a bit protective of my food and toys, so I’d prefer a home with kids 12 and up who understand that I like my space when I’m eating or playing with something special. I’m also not a fan of being restrained (the vet usually needs to give me a little something to help me relax during exams), so gentle handling and patience are key.The good news? I’m housebroken, loyal, and full of love once you’re in my circle. I’m ready to find a home that appreciates my big heart, spunky personality, and the wisdom that comes with a little life experience. ❤️Requirements: Martingale Collar; Children 12yrs+ (due to Resource Guarding); Breed ExperienceAll of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home. Our adoption fee helps cover this cost.

🌸 Meet Lily: Professional Wallflower Turned Party Animal 🌸Lily would like you to know that first impressions are overrated. When you first meet her, this gorgeous brindle-and-white girl may hang back for a moment, carefully evaluating whether you're friend-shaped. But don't let her shy act fool you. Give Lily a little time, a few kind words, and maybe a snack or two, and suddenly you'll discover the goofy, playful puppy hiding underneath. At just 5 months old, Lily is still figuring out this whole "being a dog" thing. We don't know much about her past before she arrived from a local veterinary clinic, but what we do know is that she's an incredibly sweet baby who deserves a bright future. We suspect Lily may be a Bull Terrier/Malinois-type mix, which is a fancy way of saying she likely comes equipped with endless energy, endless curiosity, and endless ideas that may or may not be approved by her future family. She'll need plenty of exercise, training, socialization, and mental enrichment to help her grow into the amazing dog she's meant to be.The good news? Lily is smart, eager, and ready to learn. The bad news? Your socks may never be safe again. If you're looking for a puppy who will keep you laughing, keep you moving, and reward your efforts with a lifetime of loyalty, Lily is ready to bloom in a home of her own.Requirements: Martingale CollarAll of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home. 🔥 Meet Ash: Future Good Boy Under Construction 🔥Warning: Ash is currently operating as a prototype. Some assembly required. At 5 months old, Ash is still learning the rules of civilized society. Things like "don't chew that," "feet belong on the floor," and "the squirrel isn't actually inviting you to chase it" are all works in progress. This handsome brindle-and-white boy came to us from a veterinary clinic with his sisters, Lily and Poppy. We don't know how they got there or what life looked like before, but we do know that Ash is a sweet puppy who just needs a little time to settle in before showing off his fun-loving personality.Once he gets comfortable, the shy puppy disappears and the goofy kid comes out to play.We suspect Ash is some combination of Bull Terrier and Malinois-type breeds, which means his future family should be prepared for a dog with both brains and energy. Lots of energy. The kind of energy that says, "What are we doing next?" immediately after finishing the last activity.Ash will thrive with people committed to training, socialization, exercise, and helping him channel all that puppy enthusiasm into becoming a fantastic adult dog. He's not looking for perfection—just someone willing to invest the time and patience he deserves. If you're ready for puppy classes, adventures, laughs, and the occasional dose of harmless chaos, Ash is ready to be your newest project... and your best friend.Requirements: Martingale CollarAll of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home. 🌼 Meet Poppy: Tiny Dog, Giant Ears, Unlimited Opinions 🌼Poppy may only be 5 months old, but she's already mastered the art of listening to absolutely everything. With ears that seem capable of picking up satellite signals and a sweet face that could get away with almost anything, Poppy is equal parts adorable puppy and future adventure buddy.Transferred to us from a veterinary clinic alongside her siblings, Poppy's early story is a mystery. What isn't a mystery is that she's an absolute sweetheart. She can be a little shy when meeting new people or exploring new places, but once she realizes everything is okay, her puppy personality comes bursting out at full speed. And trust us—there's a lot of puppy personality in there. We believe Poppy may have some Bull Terrier and Malinois ancestry, which means she's likely going to grow into an active, intelligent dog who will need structure, training, socialization, and plenty of outlets for her energy. This is not a puppy looking for a couch-potato lifestyle. This is a puppy looking for a teammate.Poppy is searching for a family ready to guide her through the important puppy stages and help her become the confident, well-rounded dog she has the potential to be.In return, she'll provide endless entertainment, unwavering loyalty, and approximately 47 zoomies per day.Requirements: Martingale CollarAll of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home. Weiss ( pronounced Vice. The meaning is white in German) He’s a very sweet boy and gets along with kids, cats & dogs. We have an older GSD that doesn’t like him at all and I don’t want them to hurt each other. That’s why I need to rehome him.
