Peanut Collins is currently enrolled in the 12-week Puppies 4 Parole program through the Mo Department of Corrections. He will graduate around May 1st and will be available for adoption at that time. Peanut Collins is a big-hearted boy who has been patiently waiting for his forever home for over a year. Peanut is a 4 year old Belgian Malinois mix weighing approximately 85 pounds. He has a big personality and plenty of opinions that he isn't afraid to share. Peanut is: Dog friendly Cat friendly Potty trained Leash trained (though he might pull if he spots something exciting) Loves walks, runs, and playtime – especially tug! Not suitable for homes with small children Requires a secure 6-foot fence (or consistent walks) – he's an athletic boy! Peanut takes a little time to trust new people, but once he trusts you he’ll be your most loyal companion. He’s affectionate, goofy, and loves attention. That said, he has a stubborn streak and he's smart enough to know what he doesn't like, so he’ll thrive with someone who understands working breeds and appreciates a smart dog with an attitude.
