Story
Meet Roxie 🐾 Roxie is a 3-year-old Belgian Malinois who was surrendered when her owner was moving and could no longer provide the time and care she needed. According to her previous owner, Roxie has never cats, but she does enjoy water play and loves chasing tennis balls. These favorite activities may be a great way to bond with her and help her feel comfortable in her new home. Staff describe Roxie as a sweet girl. She is nervous and unsure around new people, but remains easy to handle and responds well to gentle guidance. While she wants to feel safe, she isn't always sure how to accept affection and may choose to create distance rather than seek attention. Roxie is particularly uncomfortable on a leash and will often pull away or become tangled while walking. She will benefit greatly from continued leash training, socialization, and positive experiences that help her gain confidence. Because of her sensitive nature and tendency to become nervous in unfamiliar situations, we recommend a home with older children or adults only. A calm environment where she can decompress and progress at her own pace will set her up for success💛🐶

Meet Mika 🐾 Mika is a 3-year-old Belgian Malinois who was surrendered when her owner was moving and could no longer provide the time and care she needed. According to her previous owner, Mika has never been around cats, but she loves playing in the water and enjoys chasing tennis balls. These activities are a great way to bond with her and help build trust. Staff describe Mika as a sweet, gentle girl who is understandably nervous around new people. She can be shy when first meeting someone and prefers that you quietly enter her space to leash her rather than rushing her. Once she begins to feel comfortable, she'll happily sit at your feet and allow gentle pets, showing just how much she wants to trust. It's clear that Mika hasn't had much opportunity to socialize, and she's still learning that people can be a source of comfort and love. She has a calm, easygoing personality but will bark when she's outside, especially as she takes in her surroundings. Future adopters should know that Mika is an excellent jumper and is capable of clearing a 6-foot fence, so she will require a secure yard and should never be left unattended outdoors💛🐶

Story
Poor Brownie. She was surrendered to the Animal Foundation as a puppy, adopted by a family at 5 months, then escaped their yard to be hit by a car at 9 months. After that, she wasn't wanted by her family. She spent her first birthday with stitches in both front legs, missing a back leg, wearing a cone and place in the home of a stranger. Not how any of us want to spend a birthday. Fortunately, she's in the home of a foster and doing great! She's loving and attention seeking and acts like a cat sometimes. She rubs up against your legs, leaning in for pets and cuddles. The leaning may be a result of keeping herself balanced while getting loved. She's active and loves to chase a ball in the backyard. She knows a few basic commands and is working with her foster to learn more. Do you have room in your home and heart for this beautiful and loving girl? She needs a family that won't abandon her. Contact adoptanimalnetwork@gmail.com to meet her.

Story
Gable is believed to be around 3 months old. This adorable little guy gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes, from tiny pups to large breeds. He’s a playful, happy puppy who loves tossing his toys in the air and chasing after them, and he’s perfectly content entertaining himself for hours. Gable’s potty training is coming along beautifully, and he recently mastered using the doggy door. He enjoys spending time outside, running around the yard and watching the other dogs play. At night, he’s kennel trained and sleeps quietly through the night like a champ. This boy has a sweet personality and loves everyone. He’s looking for a loving family that will continue helping him grow into the amazing dog he’s already becoming. If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate companion with a playful spirit and great manners, Gable may be the perfect match for you! 🐾❤️

Story
Meet Berserk! 🖤🐾 If you're looking for a dog that can keep up with an active lifestyle, meet Berserk — a stunning 2-3 year old Belgian Malinois with athleticism, intelligence, and endless potential. Berserk is fully vetted, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, neutered, and has completed an incredible board-and-train program with BarNoneK9, where he has worked hard on his manners, obedience, and building a solid foundation for success. Like many Malinois, Berserk is exceptionally smart, highly food motivated, and absolutely loves to train. He thrives when given a job to do and enjoys learning new skills. His trainer describes him as "what an athlete!" and believes he would excel in activities such as agility, advanced obedience, scent work, or other dog sports. While many Malinois are obsessed with balls and tugs, Berserk is unique in that he is far more focused on training and food rewards than toys. Berserk can be a little reserved when meeting new people and prefers to warm up on his own terms. Once he trusts you, he is affectionate, playful, and forms strong bonds with his people. Because he communicates clearly through his body language, his future family must be willing to respect his boundaries and understand canine communication. He is not a dog that enjoys being rushed into affection by strangers, and he will do best in a home that can advocate for him and set him up for success. As a typical Malinois, Berserk is not the right fit for a first-time dog owner. We are specifically seeking a breed-experienced home that understands the mental and physical needs of working dogs and is committed to providing the structure, leadership, training, and enrichment he requires to thrive. Berserk is looking for a family that sees his incredible potential and is ready to invest the time and attention needed to help him become his very best self. In return, you'll gain an intelligent, loyal, and devoted companion who is eager to work, learn, and be part of your team. ✔️ Neutered ✔️ Microchipped ✔️ Up to date on vaccinations ✔️ Professionally trained through BarNoneK9 ✔️ Highly food motivated and loves to learn ✔️ Ideal for an active, breed-experienced home If you think Berserk might be the perfect addition to your family, we'd love to hear from you!
