If you're looking for a dog that can keep up with an active lifestyle, meet Berserk — a stunning 2-3 year old Belgian Malinois with athleticism, intelligence, and endless potential.
Berserk is fully vetted, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, neutered, and has completed an incredible board-and-train program with BarNoneK9, where he has worked hard on his manners, obedience, and building a solid foundation for success.
Like many Malinois, Berserk is exceptionally smart, highly food motivated, and absolutely loves to train. He thrives when given a job to do and enjoys learning new skills. His trainer describes him as "what an athlete!" and believes he would excel in activities such as agility, advanced obedience, scent work, or other dog sports. While many Malinois are obsessed with balls and tugs, Berserk is unique in that he is far more focused on training and food rewards than toys.
Berserk can be a little reserved when meeting new people and prefers to warm up on his own terms. Once he trusts you, he is affectionate, playful, and forms strong bonds with his people. Because he communicates clearly through his body language, his future family must be willing to respect his boundaries and understand canine communication. He is not a dog that enjoys being rushed into affection by strangers, and he will do best in a home that can advocate for him and set him up for success.
As a typical Malinois, Berserk is not the right fit for a first-time dog owner. We are specifically seeking a breed-experienced home that understands the mental and physical needs of working dogs and is committed to providing the structure, leadership, training, and enrichment he requires to thrive.
