With confidence, structure, and love, he’s learned that the world isn’t so scary after all. He’s gaining manners, trust, and joy every single day — showing just how resilient and special he is. Gus is about 4 years old, a handsome Belgian Malinois/Shepherd mix, and still young enough to enjoy adventures while mature enough to appreciate calm moments with his people. Scooby Doo is an incredibly unique doberman/malinois mix (per DNA test)! Scooby is the GOOFIEST dog in the world. He has basic obedience training, is crate trained, housebroken and gets along with other large dogs. Scooby loves to cuddle with his humans, going on adventures and play play playing. Scooby has the genetics of 2 breeds known for their protective temperaments. Genetics will always play a part in his character, so he will need proper introductions to strangers- especially those entering his territory. Scooby has come a long way learning to trust strangers and disengage but he will need an adopter who is experienced with working breeds. Scooby is NOT a working candidate. He has a lot of environmental sensitivities. He is a big old scardey-cat. His barking may make you think he’s tough, but alas, he is not. He needs someone who will be a fair but gentle leader and who will continue his training with dedication. This boy is smart as a whip if you know how to listen to him and speak to him in a way he understands. Scooby is medium energy and his perfect adopter would be an active person who can take him on many adventures! Scooby would probably be ok with older kids, but he has not been officially tested yet- will update once he is.

Sierra is another one of our embankment mals! She can still be slightly timid with new men, but is very social once she gets to know you! Sierra is a goofy goofy girl with a deformed front leg. That leg doesn’t slow her down one bit! Sierra is still super active and loves going for adventures in the car and on hikes. Sierra is still working on her doggy socialization skills and obedience, but is coming along well. She is crate trained and does walk well on leash. No small animals or dog parks for Sierra.

He is a goofy, loving and playful boy once he knows you’re a friend and will definitely look to his handler for direction.

Pongo is a Shepherd Collie Mix who was pulled from Moreno Valley Animal Shelter and was there since the beginning of July. From Pongo's foster: " I had been visiting him at the shelter for almost 2 months and no interest.. I watched him get better from a virus and pull through and still no one. He was always so well behaved. Would sit when I asked. Was loyal on the first day I met him just chill and would do his business and come back to you and lay down below you. He's such a calm dog for being at such a loud shelter. Not reactive to people nor dogs. Walks well on the leash. Can you ask for more of a perfect dog??? He was scared of the stairs when he came home but conquered it like a champ on his first night! Pongo, you're such a great dog! You make me feel like I'm going to foster fail with you
