Story
Hi, I’m Izy! I’m a 10-year-old female Belgian Malinois with a sleek fawn coat, dark mask, and alert ears. Rescued at 6 months old, I’ve lived happily with my family, enjoying walks, training, and affection. I’m smart, loyal, and very affectionate—friendly once introduced, protective, and good with kids and dogs. I still have some of that classic Malinois energy and enjoy daily exercise and play, but I also love relaxing and cuddling. Sadly, our family is growing with a new baby, so I need a new home. I’m looking for an experienced owner who enjoys walks or has a securely fenced yard for daily exercise. Healthy and spayed, I promise devotion, loyalty, and lots of licks and kisses! Thank you for considering me!

Story
Meet Zeppelin. He is an incredibly smart, athletic, and loyal Belgian Malinois / Russo-European Laika mix. I’ve raised him from a puppy and love him to pieces, but my late-night work schedule has changed, and keeping a high-drive working dog in a NYC apartment just isn't fair to him anymore. He has too much potential to spend his days waiting around, and I want him to have the free, active life he deserves. Zeppelin is a working dog through and through. He is hyper-intelligent, catches on to things instantly, and is completely devoted to his person. He has a big engine, an intense drive to learn, and is happiest when he has a job to do, whether that’s a puzzle toy, learning a new trick, or out on a long hike. He needs a lifestyle match. He will absolutely thrive in a suburban or rural setting with someone who understands high-energy herding or working breeds. A big fenced yard or land to run on is a must.

Story
Mariner is a 12-month-old Belgian Malinois who’s as smart as they come, but with a calmer, more easygoing temperament. She’s eager to learn, loves to please, and thrives on positive reinforcement and routine. Unlike the high-octane Malinois you often hear about, Mariner has a moderate drive — she enjoys activity, playtime, and mental challenges, but also knows how to relax and settle down when it’s time. She would be a perfect fit for a family experienced with working breeds or one that understands the Malinois’ need for structure, consistency, and engagement. With regular training and a “job” to do, whether that’s obedience work, hiking buddy, or canine sports, Mariner will shine. If you’re looking for a smart, loving, and steady Malinois to grow with your family, Mariner might just be your perfect match! She is around 50 pounds. She is crate trained, seems to be house trained, knows basic commands, loose leash walks, does the treadmill everyday, and is eager to learn more! All our dogs/pups are spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. They have been dewormed and are current on vaccinations. Our adoption fee includes 30 days of complimentary medical insurance for your new pet. Breed and size is frequently a guess and can not be guaranteed. Our dogs are fostered on a private residence, we do not have a free standing shelter. They live on a farm where they run and play with other dogs, cats, horses, and barnyard fowl. Initial contact with us must be made through e-mail. E-mail ARFofMercer@gmail.com directly for an adoption application or with any questionsg. Once your adoption application is approved, you will be invited to meet our dogs/puppies.

***PLEASE NOTE, EMAILS FROM THE SITE EXPRESSING YOUR INTEREST IN ADOPTING WILL NOT BE ANSWERED. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING, PLEASE REVIEW OUR ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS AND COMPLETE THE ONLINE APPLICATION ON OUR WEBSITE TO BEGIN THE PROCESS. ONLY APPROVED ADOPTERS MAY MEET THE AVAILABLE DOGS IN THE GSRNJ PROGRAM - WWW.GSRNJ.ORG*** 🐾💙 Meet Benny, an 8–10 month old Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This handsome young guy is full of life, curiosity, and that classic Malinois drive—he’s always ready to learn, play, and be part of the action. From the moment you meet him, Benny makes his enthusiasm known. He greets people with excitement and quickly settles into affection, enjoying pets, head scratches, and even full-body hugs without hesitation. He’s confident, social, and thrives on interaction with his humans. Benny already has a great foundation—he knows “sit” and “paw,” is highly food motivated, and loves toys (especially a good game of tug or fetch). He takes direction well and will excel with continued training and structure. Like many young working-breed dogs, he can be a little mouthy at times and will benefit from guidance as he matures. He walks nicely on leash but is still learning his manners, so continued leash training will be important. Benny is also a high-energy pup who will need both physical exercise and mental stimulation to stay happy and balanced. 🐕 Dog-friendly: Yes, but prefers smaller dogs and will require a meet & greet 🐱 Cats: No cats for Benny 🦴 Food motivation: High (training dream!) 🎾 Favorite things: Toys, tug, fetch, and being with his people Benny has shown no signs of food or object guarding and handled all handling tests with ease—even things like paw handling, tail touching, and vet-style exams. He’s a confident, resilient pup who just needs the right environment to thrive. Benny needs to be neutered and we would love to find him a foster home to facilitate this. Because of his energy level and breed mix, Benny is looking for an experienced home familiar with Malinois or working breeds—someone ready to continue his training, provide structure, and help him reach his full potential. If you’re ready for a loyal, intelligent, and fun-loving companion, Benny might just be your perfect match 🐾✨ 📩 Apply to adopt Benny today!
