At approximately 75 pounds, she's a fun-loving girl who is always ready to chase a ball, play with her favorite toys, and spend time with her people. She's incredibly agile (she even hopped right onto the exam table during her evaluation!) and would thrive with an active adopter with Malinois or working dog breed experience who enjoys training and engaging with their dog. Bella knows several commands, including sit, give paw, and place, and she passed her temperament evaluation with flying colors. She happily accepted handling all over her body, allowed a full exam, showed no reaction to startling noises, and loved interacting with her evaluator. While she can be vocal when meeting new people, she warms up quickly and enjoys attention. Bella's ideal home is one where she can be the only pet. In a previous home, she developed owner/resource guarding behaviors around another dog in the household, which led to conflicts. Interestingly, she has done well with dogs in daycare and during evaluations, so her challenges are specific to sharing a home—not simply being around other dogs. Because of this, she'll do best as your one and only companion. She is also looking for a home with teens 14 years and older and no cats. Bella is spayed, microchipped, and has already had a preventative gastropexy procedure. She's ready to leave shelter life behind and find someone who understands the Malinois breed—or is committed to learning—and is looking for an incredibly loyal, active partner. If you're searching for a smart, toy-obsessed adventure buddy who will thrive with structure, training, and plenty of exercise, Bella may be the perfect match for you.

He has lots of energy, loves playing (he’ll happily play for hours!), enjoys the water, and gets along well with dogs of all sizes. Milo is very observant and, once he trusts you, becomes a total cuddle bug who loves being close to his people. He needs an owner committed to continuing his training and providing plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. Milo is naturally protective and will bark when strangers approach his home or owner. Juno was adopted from Rescue Ridge 3 years ago, but sadly, her owner has fallen ill and can no longer care for this sweet girl. Now, she finds herself searching for a new home through no fault of her own. Juno has been a model citizen in the home. She is housebroken and extremely well-behaved. She is friendly with everyone, including children and other dogs. Juno knows commands, walks nicely on a leash, and enjoys the freedom of running around in her yard. Her owner describes her as a “good girl” and is heartbroken about returning her to Rescue Ridge. If you are looking for a well-trained family & dog-friendly pup - Juno is your girl! Millie was privately rescued from a backyard breeding situation and has since been spayed and is UTD on vaccines. She lives with other dogs and cats, but does struggle with resource guarding and a high prey drive. She has not met any other dogs besides the two that she grew up with. Due to her prey drive and a recent bite history, she should not live with any small animals or children. Millie needs an experienced adopter(with breed knowledge) in an adult-only household. A mandatory background check will be conducted to ensure she goes to the best home possible where her needs can be met.
