Millie was privately rescued from a backyard breeding situation and has since been spayed and is UTD on vaccines. She lives with other dogs and cats, but does struggle with resource guarding and a high prey drive. She has not met any other dogs besides the two that she grew up with. Due to her prey drive and a recent bite history, she should not live with any small animals or children. Millie needs an experienced adopter(with breed knowledge) in an adult-only household. A mandatory background check will be conducted to ensure she goes to the best home possible where her needs can be met.

Angel was a stray from the Vineland area along with her 8 week old puppy. She was likely simply dumped by her owner. She is a very smart, energetic young adult Malinois. She is sensitive and learns quickly. She is just about housebroken now. Angel will do better in a single pet home however she does love our tester dog Danny. They kennel together often by their choice but they are always fed separately. This breed is not for the faint of heart. Malinois are super intelligent and require a lot of exercise. Videos of amazing Malinois doing outstanding agility and obedience are shot after hundreds of hours of training. Angel does not have that type of drive and will excel as a family companion. She seems to love children and is not good around cats. Since she arrived here, she has spent many, many hours with the Director. He will screen any potential adopters to ensure a good fit. Angel has not shown any aggression towards humans and seems to really like children. She does look a little crazy when she is in the kennel building and strangers come in, but she is very calmn and loving in a home environment. Don't let her activity level in the kennel fool you. If she is not in her kennel when you come in, ask the staff because she has office privileges upstairs and may be with the Director in his office. Peaches- her mama Rue was rescued from an awful situation. She was chained up in a yard along with many other shepherds. No food, no water, no shelter. She got pregnant and delivered her 8 babies in a dirt hole/cave that she dug herself. She and her pups were rescued just before a bunch of rain storms where the pups would have surely drowned in their hole. Rues DNA came back as German shepherd and golden retriever. We ran DNA on littermates, and they came back husky/German shepherd. These pups are active and talkative. They are big fans of the water!Peaches- her mama Rue was rescued from an awful situation.
