Story

Zara has been a part of our family since she was a puppy. She will be 4 years old in November. We would love for her to go to a pet free home. She needs a lot of attention and with our schedules becoming more busy we are not able to provide that. We sent her to a two week training when she was a puppy where she was taught many commands like sit, down, place, and heel which she does well with, she uses a training collar. She is a protective dog so we slowly introduce new people to her which she does well with and have not had any biting incidents. She loves kids I have a 10 year old and a 18 month old.

Angel was a stray from the Vineland area along with her 8 week old puppy. She was likely simply dumped by her owner. She is a very smart, energetic young adult Malinois. She is sensitive and learns quickly. She is just about housebroken now. Angel will do better in a single pet home however she does love our tester dog Danny. They kennel together often by their choice but they are always fed separately. This breed is not for the faint of heart. Malinois are super intelligent and require a lot of exercise. Videos of amazing Malinois doing outstanding agility and obedience are shot after hundreds of hours of training. Angel does not have that type of drive and will excel as a family companion. She seems to love children and is not good around cats. Since she arrived here, she has spent many, many hours with the Director. He will screen any potential adopters to ensure a good fit. Angel has not shown any aggression towards humans and seems to really like children. She does look a little crazy when she is in the kennel building and strangers come in, but she is very calmn and loving in a home environment. Don't let her activity level in the kennel fool you. If she is not in her kennel when you come in, ask the staff because she has office privileges upstairs and may be with the Director in his office. hi Luca, this good boy is a 2 year old Belgian shepherd mix. He was surrendered to the local animal control shelter as he was abandoned by his owner with a family member who could not keep him or provide for him. He is 72 lbs. Luca is such a good boy! Typical of any shepherd mixes what have been through lot of changes in a short time, he was at first a bit nervous and unsure with us but is quickly adjusting. He does well with our volunteers, is interested in the outdoors and is just fun boy. He is an active dog that is looking for an equally active home. Luca prefers to be your one and only dog. He will come neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and 4dx tested.
