Her time was up as a puppy at a very small, rural animal control facility, so we rescued this lovely dog. She has an exuberant personality, is bright and beautiful; enjoys being near someone, and LOVES lots of treats...Secure fenced yard required, as she can jump; VET'S REFERENCE REQUIRED.March 9, 2026, 5:29 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Miss Marley took her freedom ride today 3/27/26 from an overpopulated county shelter to a foster home with Pawfect Match!  As we learn more about her we will update her profile.  So far she is friendly meeting new people, likes toys and has been quiet in her crate decompressing.  More on Marley to come......  Marley has a lot of energy and just wants to play.  She is happy playing toss the toy with herself even.  She has not yet learned to drop a top or release it to you.  Marley is not a fan or ceiling fans, they look weird, sound weird and she tells them she doesn't like them with her big girl bark.    ***** The adoption fee is $400, which covers food, vetting, microchip and the spay/neuter surgery performed by a rescue-affiliated vet.  All dogs receive a wellness visit and are up to date on shots appropriate for age.  Breed and size is Pawfect Match Rescue's best guess and not guaranteed. Please go to https://www.pawfectmatch.org/animals/search? and search on the dog name to see more photos, browse the profile, and complete an application Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 12, 2026, 3:37 pm

Story
[DogName] is a COURTESY LISTING available for private adoption -- for more information, please contact the owner listed below. DO NOT apply through the GSRA website as this dog and owner are not affiliated with GSRA. Riggs is an 8-year-old German Shepherd and Belgian Malinois mix with the energy and intelligence of a true working dog. He thrives with an active owner who enjoys the outdoors and wants a loyal companion for everyday adventures. Riggs loves fetch, especially frisbee, and he is happiest when he can run, swim, and explore. He loves the water and will jump in whenever he gets the chance. Car rides make him just as happy, particularly when the window is down and he can feel the wind. If you enjoy hikes, lake days, or simply being outside, Riggs will gladly go wherever you go. He has excellent training and knows a long list of commands including sit, down, stay, place, leave it, out, shake, come, heel, through, and middle. He walks well on a leash and responds to structure and direction. Riggs will do best as the only dog in an adult household where someone can dedicate time and energy to him. He has lived peacefully with dogs he has known since puppyhood, but he can be reactive around unfamiliar dogs. He may also react if unknown people approach his space while he is on leash. Health wise, Riggs remains strong and active. Both CCLs were surgically repaired by an orthopedic surgeon, and he shows no signs of hip dysplasia or other ongoing issues. Riggs bonds deeply with his person. In the right home, he will reward someone with an incredibly loyal companion who is smart, trained, and always ready for the next adventure. Story
Happy is a 7-year-old, large mixed breed who truly lives up to his name. He’s a sweet, affectionate boy who loves being close to his people and happily soaks up attention whenever it’s offered. Happy is potty trained and knows basic commands, making him an easy companion in the home. He’s used to being mostly indoors, can be left alone inside, and does well in a fenced yard. He enjoys treats and praise, which makes him a joy to work with and a great candidate for continued training. This gentle guy does well with small children, is often friendly with other dogs, and even likes cats and other small animals. He’s also done well around livestock such as chickens and goats—an impressive bonus for a large dog! On leash, Happy does tend to pull, so he’ll benefit from some leash refresher work and regular exercise. He has a naturally protective side, paired with a loving, cuddly personality that makes him a wonderful family dog. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who fits well into a family setting and already has great manners at home, Happy could be the perfect addition to your pack.Happy is a sweet, independent pup who enjoys doing his own thing. In the play yard, he’s more of an explorer—roaming the perimeter, sniffing around, and taking in all the scents. Every so often he’ll check in for a quick hello, and he’s easy to leash and pet, even if he’s a little nervous. We don’t know his full story, but it’s clear that Happy will thrive in a home that gives him patience, understanding, and the space to build trust at his own pace. With time and love, this thoughtful boy is sure to blossom.

Story
Bebe is a sweet, high-energy boy who doesn’t quite realize his size—he truly thinks he’s a lap dog! He loves affection and will happily soak up all the attention you’re willing to give.He has done very well in playgroups with other dogs, has shown he can do well with cats, and has also been great with children. Bebe enjoys having friends, but he does prefer to have his meals to himself and isn’t a fan of sharing toys. He is protective of food, toys, and some people, so he would do best with an experienced adopter who can continue working with him through training and help set him up for success. If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate companion with lots of love (and energy!) to give, Bebe could be the perfect addition to your home!
