Waffles loves a good game of fetch, and she’ll happily play for hours if you let her. She has had professional training, which makes her a fantastic partner for someone who enjoys structure, exercise, and continued learning. Her trainer is also willing to work with her new adopters should they like to continue her training. Like many Malinois, she has prey drive and will definitely keep the squirrels out of your yard. With cats, she’ll need slow, careful introductions. If they run, she may want to chase. She does well with other non-dominant dogs, but proper introductions are important to set her up for success. Have you ever seen a big doggy PUPPY? Well if you saw my pics, you have NOW! I have a perpetual puppy face, so very cute! I am a great boy and would LOVE a busy family to do fun stuff with then to just hang out relaxing with. I came to the rescue so long ago that all my family has been adopted and I'm still waiting ................... My rescue friends and can't figure out why. I'm a smart, friendly, happy and busy boy. I'd love someone to take life one adventure at a time with. If you know the Belgian Malinois breed you know that exercising my body is good, but it just makes me stronger and have more stamina ;) So you have to ALSO exercise my brain and I'm open to all the fun ways to do that! I love to be challenged and want to LEARN what you want me to do to be your new bestest friend!! I 'd love a nice family who will hike, bike, run, swim and play with me! Meet Lennox!! He is a little over a year old (born 10/22) German Shepherd mix who weighs 65 pounds! He is looking for his forever people. Lennox is a very active boy who will do well with clear instructions and consistency. He is working on the words “no, stay, sit, back off, leave it, drop it, house, and done”. He still has an occasional accident in the house especially when he is focused on play. He loves a good tennis ball and can play for hours. He is learning to walk without pulling, gets excited when he sees dogs his own size and seems to want to chase cats that run. He has lived with cats before, but testing is critical. In his foster home, he has a fenced in yard, but does not like to be out on his own. He really wants someone to play ball with him. Currently he is working on “house’ during the workday and ‘house’ overnight. He does well through the night, but he will bark for a short time until he settles down. He is still working on spending the day in the crate. He would thrive in an active family who could take him out for several walks or to play ball. He is a loving boy with a big heart, loves to cuddle on the couch, and did we mention he loves his tennis balls.
