Story
Meet Tiny Tim! Tiny Tim came to us after being found as a stray by a good samaritan. Tiny Tim is a special boy at only 1 year old, and he has a ton of energy but can also be sensitive to some handling, and would need an experienced dog handler who can handle the energy of a Malinois mix. Tiny Tim requires a home who have previous shepherd or shepherd dog type experience. He would do best in a home with only adults who understand his boundaries and will respect his needs. He would also prefer a home with no kitty friends. Are you interested in being his new best friend? ******Please note, once completing the initial screen you will be connected with the placement for a video chat. Transports run every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time************ We are a volunteer run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you area not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Sarge is a neutered 2 year old Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix currently being fostered in Denver, CO. Sarge is an outgoing, playful, and affectionate boy with a big personality and an even bigger love for fun. He is smart, curious, and full of energy, and he thrives when he has opportunities to play, explore, and be active with his people. Sarge loves other dogs and is always eager to make friends. He will happily nudge a dog to invite them to play and enjoys running and tug of war, especially with dogs his size or larger. While he gets excited and may pull toward dogs on leash, he is not aggressive and does well with slow, proper introductions. He is great at picking up on cues and will back off when another dog is done playing. Sarge has a moderate to high energy level and would do best in an active home. He would love daily walks, hikes, playtime, and mental stimulation. A fenced yard would be a big bonus, but he could also thrive with a family committed to keeping him exercised. He would do well with or without another dog in the home. On leash, Sarge could use some continued training. He is strong and tends to pull, but he responds well to guidance and does great with a gentle leader. He is fully house trained and crate trained, sleeping in his crate overnight and when his people are out. He can also be trusted with free roam, as he is not destructive. Sarge is a total lovebug with people. He is very cuddly, affectionate, and happy to greet new friends, though he may jump a bit when excited. He loves toys and proudly hoards them, lining them up one by one like treasured possessions. One of his cutest habits is doing a full somersault onto his dog bed after running inside. Sarge would be an amazing match for an active person or family looking for an adventure buddy. Older kids or dog savvy children would be best since he can be jumpy when excited. With continued leash training, plenty of toys, and lots of outdoor time, Sarge will be a loyal, joyful companion. ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. We rarely know a dog's exact age nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. *** Interested in applying to adopt him? Story
Meet Ranger, the intelligent and active Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix with a heart full of love and boundless energy. This handsome boy is a fast learner and has mastered essential commands like sit, down, wait, and shake. He's so clever that he tackled a level 3 puzzle on his first try! Ranger is a well-behaved and well-trained pup, making him a pleasure to have around the house. He's house trained, crate trained, and shows no signs of destructiveness indoors. However, he does experience some separation anxiety when his human leaves the house, which is why he's kept in his crate during errands. But don't worry, when he's playing in the backyard with his furry friend, he's perfectly content and doesn't exhibit any separation anxiety. Ranger is an active boy who loves going on walks, and he'll gladly accompany you on all your outdoor adventures. While Ranger is intelligent and affectionate, he can be barrier reactive, meaning he may react when he encounters certain barriers or boundaries. Patience and positive reinforcement training can help him overcome this behavior. This is very typical behavior for both breeds and he absolutely has to be adopted into a Mali/GSD knowledgeable family/ Ranger was in pretty rough shape when rescued and the vet initially thought he had an intestinal disease. Nothing was definitively diagnosed but the vet believes he has small intestinal issues. He is on a folate vitamin daily and will just need annual lab work and a high quality RAW FOOD diet. Ranger's charm and charisma shine through in the photos and videos provided, capturing his playful and loving nature. If you're looking for a smart, active, and affectionate companion, Ranger is the perfect match. Give him the love and care he deserves, and he'll reward you with loyalty and companionship like no other. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Meet Alix Belgian Malinois / German Shepherd Mix Puppy Alix is a handsome and sweet Belgian Malinois / German Shepherd mix puppy who is ready to find his forever home. We know his mom is a Malinois, and while we do not have information on dad, Alix is already showing many of the traits common to working breeds. He is intelligent, affectionate, and observant and always ready for an adventure. Alix is doing well with crate training and is learning a consistent daily routine. While he may be on the calmer side, he is still an energetic puppy who will thrive in a home that understands the mental and physical needs of Malinois and Shepherd-type dogs. These breeds are highly intelligent and sensitive, and Alix will do best with a committed, breed-knowledgeable adopter who is prepared to continue training and provide appropriate structure and enrichment. Alix is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventatives. Adoption Fee: $250 local (Texas) $550 out of state (includes transport) Alix is looking for a dedicated home that understands the commitment involved in raising a working-breed mix and is ready to invest in him for life.

🐾 Meet Waffles! 🐾 Age: 3 years old Breed: Belgian Malinois Mix Status: Spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventions Waffles is a stunning, smart, and athletic Belgian Malinois mix looking for her forever family! At 3 years old, she’s past the puppy stage but still full of energy and enthusiasm. This girl is incredibly sweet and eager to please, but she will thrive best with a breed knowledgeable owner who understands both the mental and physical needs of a Malinois. Waffles loves a good game of fetch, and she’ll happily play for hours if you let her. She has had professional training, which makes her a fantastic partner for someone who enjoys structure, exercise, and continued learning. Her trainer is also willing to work with her new adopters should they like to continue her training. Like many Malinois, she has prey drive and will definitely keep the squirrels out of your yard. With cats, she’ll need slow, careful introductions. If they run, she may want to chase. She does well with other non-dominant dogs, but proper introductions are important to set her up for success. If you’re looking for a loyal, athletic, and intelligent companion who will love adventure as much as she loves downtime with her people, Waffles could be the perfect match. 💌 Could Waffles be your new best friend? Apply today and give this amazing girl the home she deserves! $200 Local Adoption Fee (in Texas) $450 Out of State Fee (includes transportation to your area)

Meet Alon – A Sweet, Thoughtful, and Energetic Malinois Mix 🐾 Alon is a 3-month-old Malinois mix, and while we can’t guarantee breed, our best guess is a Belgian Malinois and German Shepherd mix. We do have his mom, who looks like a pure Malinois and is an incredibly sweet and intelligent dog, so these pups are sure to grow into amazing companions. While Alon is calmer than some of his littermates, he is still very much an energetic puppy at times. He will thrive in a home that understands and is prepared for the mental and physical needs of a Malinois mix. He enjoys activity, learning, and engagement, balanced with plenty of affection and cuddle time. Alon is super sweet, loving, and doing great with crate training. He has a gentle nature, a bright mind, and a strong desire to bond with his people. With the right guidance, structure, and enrichment, Alon will grow into a loyal and well-rounded dog. Alon is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventions. Adoption Fees: 🐾 $250 Local Adoption Fee (Texas) 🐾 $550 Out-of-State Adoption Fee (includes transport)

Story
Here's what my friends at the shelter had to say about me! “When I first met Sasha, she was shaking uncontrollably and trying to make herself as small as possible. She broke my heart and I cried right there. Who made her feel this scared? After a little time she warmed up enough to let me put a bandana on her and take some cute pics. She has the sweetest face and the most soulful eyes. Even though she was stressed, she seemed comforted by having another dog nearby. When I checked on her later, she had gathered every toy in her kennel and curled up with them in her bed. She just wants to feel safe. She deserves a warm bed, a patient human, and all the toys her heart wants.”

She’s smart, eager, and full of puppy energy — the shelter is no place for a baby like her. Volunteers say she’s quick to learn and loves to sit patiently for treats. She just needs structure, love, and a home that can show her what life outside a kennel feels like.
