Story
Meet Bear Bear is an estimated 3-year-old Belgian Malinois looking for a very specific kind of home — one that understands his breed, his needs, and the commitment required to help him succeed. This isn’t your average “easygoing” dog post, because Bear isn’t an average dog — and that’s okay.Belgian Malinois are incredibly intelligent, driven, and loyal dogs who thrive with structure, purpose, and guidance. Bear will need an experienced owner who understands the breed and is ready to provide consistency, routine, and continued training while building a strong foundation of trust.* Bear cannot be placed with other dogs or cats.* Bear should not be placed in a home with young children.* He will do best with someone dedicated to working with him and helping him feel secure in his environment.* He needs leadership, patience, and someone willing to invest the time to help him reach his full potential. What we see in Bear is a dog who wants to connect — but he needs the right person to help him feel safe, understood, and successful. For the right home, Bear has the potential to be an incredibly loyal and rewarding companion. If you have experience with Belgian Malinois or similar working breeds and are ready for a dog that requires commitment and understanding, Bear may be waiting for you.

Story
Looking for a home for my niece’s dog. He is a 2-year-old male mix breed Belgium Malonis with unknown breed. He is small 30 lbs. He loves to play fetch and loves snuggling. However, he has separation anxiety and needs someone who is patient with him. We are looking for a forever home for him since he doesn’t get along with our two pit bulls. We have tried integrating them unsuccessfully. He is very hyper and will do well in a home where he is the only pet. Preferably with someone who is active and not a couch potato. We will want to meet the potential owner and their home to ensure it is a match for him.Serious inquiries only please.

Story
This puppy is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $250 if picked up in TN, $325 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Icon is a six-month-old Husky / Shepherd / Malinois mix with the most striking blue eyes against a rich brown coat. This puppy looks like he was made for the cover of a magazine! He has an incredibly expressive face and an adorable "awooo" howl that he likes to share with the world, and between the looks and the personality, this boy is the total package. Icon is medium energy, playful, and food motivated, which makes him very trainable. He already knows a reliable sit and follows a lure well, so his future family is going to have a lot of fun teaching him new skills. He does well in his crate, though he can get a little vocal in the mornings or when there is exciting activity happening nearby that he wants to be part of. He rides well in a crate in the car and is still working on his leash manners and housetraining, both of which will come along nicely with some consistency. This sweet boy is a bit shy and reserved with new people and new places, and he tends to take things slow until he feels comfortable. He gets along well with other dogs and is a typical mouthy puppy who loves to play with toys, chew on bones, and enjoy plenty of belly rubs. He would do best with children who are confident, gentle, and not easily knocked down by enthusiastic puppy play. Icon would thrive in a home where he has at least one person or pet to bond closely with, since he likes to keep his pack close and feel like part of the group. A family ready to invest in training and continue building his confidence will be rewarded with a loyal, loving, and absolutely stunning companion. Take the first step and complete an adoption application on our website: http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-apps/ If you have questions that are not covered in the profile, visit the Pet Inquiry Form: http://aarf-tn.com/contact/pet-inquiry-form/. THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. June 17, 2026, 6:30 pm
