Story
Meet Freya, a 9-month-old Belgian Malinois mix with a big personality and a zest for life. Friendly, affectionate, and genuinely happy to meet everyone she encounters, Freya is full of youthful energy and always ready to play. Freya is still very much a puppy and will benefit from guidance and structure in her new home to help her learn boundaries, polish her manners, and channel her enthusiasm. Enrolling her in a puppy training class would be a great start. She’s not yet fully house-trained and is still in her chewing phase, so patience and consistency will be important. With positive training and engagement, Freya will grow into the devoted, fun-loving companion that exemplifies her breed. Freya would do best in a home with active adults and/or older children who can keep up with her. She enjoys playing with other dogs, though her exuberance can be a bit much for smaller pups. Freya currently weighs 25 pounds and will likely reach 35 to 45 pounds when mature. She’s spayed, fully vaccinated, healthy, and heartworm-negative. Her adoption fee is $200, which includes six months of heartworm prevention. Story
We adopted her as a young dog from the shelter about 5 years ago. We wanted him to be an inside dog mostly. The problem is he has a lot of trauma and won't go up our stairs and that's the only place that we have a bathtub. So we're unable to bathe him except for outside which you can't do during the winter so the inside dog didn't work. He will bend back a metal fence or jump over it. Will you tried electrical fences in the past and different things but nothing's really worked long-term. He has been sitting in our kitchen for over a year basically and he's depressed. This is not a good setup for hero and we feel really bad about it. He's such a sweet dog and not a problem at all except for he won't go upstairs or down narrow hallways. My husband works too much and I have too many health issues and the kids school schedule to be able to take care of him and train him.

Story
Kida is a beautiful white German Shepherd, just over a year old, with a big heart and even bigger energy. She was brought into our family with love and good intentions, but as she’s grown, it’s become clear that her needs are more than our current household can realistically provide. Kida is house trained and crate trained, and she knows most basic commands. She’s a smart, high-drive dog who thrives on structure, routine, and engagement. She is energetic and anxious, which means she does best with confident, experienced handlers who understand working breeds and are willing to invest time in training, exercise, and mental stimulation. She is healthy, young, and full of potential — the kind of dog who will thrive in the right environment. Kida would do best in a home with a secure fenced yard, where she has space to run, burn energy, and feel safe. Rehoming Kida is not a decision we’ve made lightly. With the right person or family she deserves, she’ll be a loyal companion.
