Story
We adopted her as a young dog from the shelter about 5 years ago. We wanted him to be an inside dog mostly. The problem is he has a lot of trauma and won't go up our stairs and that's the only place that we have a bathtub. So we're unable to bathe him except for outside which you can't do during the winter so the inside dog didn't work. He will bend back a metal fence or jump over it. Will you tried electrical fences in the past and different things but nothing's really worked long-term. He has been sitting in our kitchen for over a year basically and he's depressed. This is not a good setup for hero and we feel really bad about it. He's such a sweet dog and not a problem at all except for he won't go upstairs or down narrow hallways. My husband works too much and I have too many health issues and the kids school schedule to be able to take care of him and train him.

Story
Kida is a beautiful white German Shepherd, just over a year old, with a big heart and even bigger energy. She was brought into our family with love and good intentions, but as she’s grown, it’s become clear that her needs are more than our current household can realistically provide. Kida is house trained and crate trained, and she knows most basic commands. She’s a smart, high-drive dog who thrives on structure, routine, and engagement. She is energetic and anxious, which means she does best with confident, experienced handlers who understand working breeds and are willing to invest time in training, exercise, and mental stimulation. She is healthy, young, and full of potential — the kind of dog who will thrive in the right environment. Kida would do best in a home with a secure fenced yard, where she has space to run, burn energy, and feel safe. Rehoming Kida is not a decision we’ve made lightly. With the right person or family she deserves, she’ll be a loyal companion.

Story
Hi, I’m Luna, a stunning German Shepherd with a big heart to match my soulful brown eyes. I’m loyal, smart, and full of affection, and I’m ready to find my forever family.I love going on walks, spending time with my favorite people, and handing out plenty of kisses. Being with my humans is my happy place, and I do best with a family who enjoys giving love, structure, and some outdoor time.A little more about me:I’m friendly and gentle, and I do well with children who want to play and with other friendly dogs.I’m smart and eager to learn. I completed obedience training when I was about a year old, walk nicely on a loose leash, and know my basic commands.I’m crate trained and potty trained, so I already have my house manners down.If you’re looking for a devoted companion who will stick by your side and fill your days with love, I might just be the girl you’ve been waiting for.My adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Story
Found her on the side of the road. We tried to find her original home nothing turned up. She needs a home we have been fostering for about 5 months and needs a tentative home. It just needs to be her in the home. She is great with kids and is 50/50 with other dogs. She is super sweet just hyper and needs work. She is spayed, potty trained, and knows some tricks. We have tried to make it work but it’s just not working out for us.

Story
Meet Barefoot Contessa! This sweet senior shepherd came to us from another shelter, and she’s estimated to be around 10 years old. Contessa is ready to find a cozy couch to call her own and spend her days lounging in comfort. She gets along well with other dogs and enjoys their company, but her true love is people. Contessa is all about comfort and would be happiest in a home where she can relax and enjoy the good life. She loves to be pampered, bathed, and just all around loved on. Contessa has spent time in a foster home, mastering potty training, leash skills, and household manners. If you’re looking for a laid-back companion who just wants to enjoy her golden years, Contessa might be the perfect fit for you! We promised Barefoot Contessa that the rest of her life, would be the best of her life. Could that be with you? ***APPLY TO ADOPT: finalvictoryrescue.com*** We provide meet-and-greets by appointment with an application on file.
