December of 2024, Morgan and his brother Viggo and sister Lakota gallivanted their way into our rescue. Their post had been shared hundreds of times, with equally as many people invested in their rescue. They lived 24/7 in their kennel runs with no walks and no outside time; literally brain rotting. Their first few months were insane; un-potty trained, unhinged menaces, the three of them! We quickly discovered the Morgy aka Schm’orgals, aka Schmorgishboard, aka Mr Miagi, aka Mr Morgals… is a living, breathing cartoon character. He can’t walk on tile floors, he yodels into the wind, he runs like a newborn foal who hasn’t figured out their legs (which maybe explains why he parks out like a horse to pee 😂), he absolutely MUST carry something in his mouth 90% of the time, and he must climb/sniff/knock over/generally conquer new places and environments. Morgan is a quirky guy, distrusting of new strangers (this stranger danger makes him not a fit for homes with children), but easily won over with time, chicken, and the good ole art of *ignoring him.* He has just enough toy and food drive to be usable in sports, (and more than enough… uh… empty space in his smooth brain head to settle well in the house and enjoy napping the day away! His brother DNA tested as 50/50 Mali x GSD, but I am convinced he is a cryptid. Long live Mr M’yorgals. Morgan is available for adoption in Greenville SC. Out of area applicants must travel in for meet and greets.

Meet Lovey! Available for adoption after 4/3! Age: est 1 year. Breed: belgian malinois. After a DNA test on her pups, we found out Lovey is purebred. Size: 55lbs, she should be about 60-65lbs Training: crate and leash trained, she is doing well with house training. She is very loyal and eager to please. Good with dogs/cats? Yes to dogs, no to cats. Good with men/women/kids? Yes, she loves everyone she meets. Personality: friendly, affectionate, playful, and eager to please. She is very loyal. She loves treats, toys, and especially tennis balls. Reason for rescue: Lovey was picked up as a stray while pregnant. She had her pups and they are all adopted/pending adoption. Now, it is her turn to find her forever family. She is scheduled to be spayed. She is microchipped, heartworm negative, and current on vaccinations and preventatives. Meet Freya, a 9-month-old Belgian Malinois mix with a big personality and a zest for life. Friendly, affectionate, and genuinely happy to meet everyone she encounters, Freya is full of youthful energy and always ready to play. Freya is still very much a puppy and will benefit from guidance and structure in her new home to help her learn boundaries, polish her manners, and channel her enthusiasm. Enrolling her in a puppy training class would be a great start. She’s not yet fully house-trained and is still in her chewing phase, so patience and consistency will be important. With positive training and engagement, Freya will grow into the devoted, fun-loving companion that exemplifies her breed. Freya would do best in a home with active adults and/or older children who can keep up with her. She enjoys playing with other dogs, though her exuberance can be a bit much for smaller pups. Freya currently weighs 25 pounds and will likely reach 35 to 45 pounds when mature. She’s spayed, fully vaccinated, healthy, and heartworm-negative. Her adoption fee is $200, which includes six months of heartworm prevention.
