Story
Meet Ranger, the intelligent and active Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix with a heart full of love and boundless energy. This handsome boy is a fast learner and has mastered essential commands like sit, down, wait, and shake. He's so clever that he tackled a level 3 puzzle on his first try! Ranger is a well-behaved and well-trained pup, making him a pleasure to have around the house. He's house trained, crate trained, and shows no signs of destructiveness indoors. However, he does experience some separation anxiety when his human leaves the house, which is why he's kept in his crate during errands. But don't worry, when he's playing in the backyard with his furry friend, he's perfectly content and doesn't exhibit any separation anxiety. Ranger is an active boy who loves going on walks, and he'll gladly accompany you on all your outdoor adventures. While Ranger is intelligent and affectionate, he can be barrier reactive, meaning he may react when he encounters certain barriers or boundaries. Patience and positive reinforcement training can help him overcome this behavior. This is very typical behavior for both breeds and he absolutely has to be adopted into a Mali/GSD knowledgeable family/ Ranger was in pretty rough shape when rescued and the vet initially thought he had an intestinal disease. Nothing was definitively diagnosed but the vet believes he has small intestinal issues. He is on a folate vitamin daily and will just need annual lab work and a high quality RAW FOOD diet. Ranger's charm and charisma shine through in the photos and videos provided, capturing his playful and loving nature. If you're looking for a smart, active, and affectionate companion, Ranger is the perfect match. Give him the love and care he deserves, and he'll reward you with loyalty and companionship like no other. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

🐾 Meet Waffles! 🐾 Age: 3 years old Breed: Belgian Malinois Mix Status: Spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventions Waffles is a stunning, smart, and athletic Belgian Malinois mix looking for her forever family! At 3 years old, she’s past the puppy stage but still full of energy and enthusiasm. This girl is incredibly sweet and eager to please, but she will thrive best with a breed knowledgeable owner who understands both the mental and physical needs of a Malinois. Waffles loves a good game of fetch, and she’ll happily play for hours if you let her. She has had professional training, which makes her a fantastic partner for someone who enjoys structure, exercise, and continued learning. Her trainer is also willing to work with her new adopters should they like to continue her training. Like many Malinois, she has prey drive and will definitely keep the squirrels out of your yard. With cats, she’ll need slow, careful introductions. If they run, she may want to chase. She does well with other non-dominant dogs, but proper introductions are important to set her up for success. If you’re looking for a loyal, athletic, and intelligent companion who will love adventure as much as she loves downtime with her people, Waffles could be the perfect match. 💌 Could Waffles be your new best friend? Apply today and give this amazing girl the home she deserves! $200 Local Adoption Fee (in Texas) $450 Out of State Fee (includes transportation to your area)

Story
Hi, I’m Caroline! I’m a 10-month-old (female, spayed) mixed breed with a beautiful brown-and-white coat and a whole lot of puppy charm. I’m ready to find my forever family who will love me and watch me grow into an even more wonderful dog! I’m playful, outgoing, and always up for an adventure. I especially love water—splashing around is one of my favorite things! I adore my foster siblings, both the human kind and the canine kind, and I fit right in with the pack. Oh, and guess what? I even play basketball! I’ve learned that my crate can be a cozy, safe space when I need to rest. With a little patience, consistency, and lots of love, I know I’ll keep growing into an amazing companion. If you’re looking for a sweet, spirited, and fun-loving pup who’s guaranteed to brighten your days, I think I might just be the one for you. Could we be the perfect match? Story
COURTESY LISTINGThis dog is a courtesy listing (not in the AARF program) but we will be reviewing applications and helping the owner find the right home for Mali. Please visit http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-app/ to apply. Mali is an energetic, intelligent girl who lights up when she has a job to do and a person to love. This 3.5 year old, 55 pound Belgian Malinois is active, athletic, and happiest when she is moving, learning, or exploring the world alongside her favorite human. Mali loves jogging, hiking, walking, and turning everyday outings into adventures, especially if squirrels are involved. She is incredibly smart and knows an impressive list of commands including sit, down, stay, come, heel, place, wait at doors, find it, and going into her crate. She truly enjoys working and learning, although she is not a candidate for service dog work. Training for fun, enrichment, and bonding is where she shines. She can be a bit reserved with new people at first, but with treats, patience, and a walk, she warms up nicely. She is very clean in the house, fully crate trained, and when she is crated she primarily naps while her owner is gone. Mali loads easily into the car and walks beautifully on leash when given clear direction. She bonds deeply with her person and wants nothing more than to be someone’s loyal, devoted best girl. Mali would do best in an active, dog-savvy home that understands the breed and enjoys regular exercise and training. A quieter household without cats or young children and with a confident male dog companion would likely be the best fit. If Mali sounds like the perfect adventure partner for you, please contact us for more information.  Interested in adopting? (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. January 2, 2026, 11:29 pm
