Story
Meet Remus Lupin – A Gentle Soul Ready to Find His Pack! Just like his famous namesake, Remus Lupin is a quiet, kind hearted guy with so much love to give. This handsome 1–2-year-old Belgian Malinois may be a little shy when you first meet him, but give him a little patience and a few tasty treats, and you’ll quickly discover an incredibly sweet, loyal companion. Remus is currently building his confidence and can be a bit nervous in new environments or around loud noises. He’s looking for a family that understands every dog learns at their own pace and is willing to help him continue blossoming into the amazing dog he’s meant to be. One thing Remus has no shortage of is a desire to learn! He’s incredibly eager to please, making him a fantastic training partner. He’s highly food motivated, so teaching new skills is both fun and rewarding for him. While toys aren’t quite as exciting yet for training, he does enjoy chasing after a tennis ball…but he’s still figuring out that bringing it back is also part of the game! As a young Belgian Malinois, Remus will thrive with an active family committed to providing him with continued training, mental enrichment, and plenty of opportunities to build his confidence. In return, you’ll gain an incredibly devoted best friend who is ready to grow right alongside you. Remus is neutered, current on all vaccinations, and ready to head home with his fur-ever family today! If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will reward your patience with unwavering devotion, Remus Lupin is ready to become part of your pack. You will love this boy!! Local adoption fee is $300 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

🐾 Meet Waffles! 🐾 Breed: Belgian Malinois Mix Status: Spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventions Waffles is a stunning, smart, and athletic Belgian Malinois mix looking for her forever family! She’s past the puppy stage but still full of energy and enthusiasm. This girl is incredibly sweet and eager to please, but she will thrive best with a breed knowledgeable owner who understands both the mental and physical needs of a Malinois. Waffles loves a good game of fetch, and she’ll happily play for hours if you let her. She has had professional training, which makes her a fantastic partner for someone who enjoys structure, exercise, and continued learning. Her trainer is also willing to work with her new adopters should they like to continue her training. Like many Malinois, she has prey drive and will definitely keep the squirrels out of your yard. With cats, she’ll need slow, careful introductions. If they run, she may want to chase. She does well with other non-dominant dogs, but proper introductions are important to set her up for success. If you’re looking for a loyal, athletic, and intelligent companion who will love adventure as much as she loves downtime with her people, Waffles could be the perfect match. Could Waffles be your new best friend? Apply today and give this amazing girl the home she deserves! Story
Cairo (brindle, 75lbs.) is four years old; he was first found around age one on the side of the road in Alabama. He is housebroken, crate-trained, extremely loyal, and gets on well with children (my three cousins aged 6-10 love and play with him). He is very energetic and playful, enjoys very long walks, and would thrive in a home leading an active lifestyle. He needs owners who don’t mind him being a velcro dog! He is extremely sweet-tempered and cuddly, and is under a very strong impression that he is a lap dog. He knows and will respond to basic commands, such as sit/stay/shake/wait-release commands for food. He has some level of anxiety due to being rescued as an adult dog, and initially around new people will be a little reserved. One of the reasons I am willing to part with him is so he can have a better life; he needs a place where he can run and be active on a regular basis.

Story
We adopted Aquila in Brazil. He was born in 06/19/2019 and we adopted him in October. His owner couldn't handle him (Belgium malinois is not an easy brees...who had one before, knows that). He is smart, learn easily and is a great hunter and protection dog.We trained him for a year! He is great, and would do a great security dog for a farm or house with a big backyard.Unfortunately we had to move to a smaller place, and now, he just have a balcony. We was walking with him 3 times a day, and he was doing great, but know, our landlord doesn't like when he barks. He just barks when a specific neighbor is walking her dog and choosing the grass under my apartment to play with her dog. Apparently, they are " pet friendly" but not so friendly as we expected.Looking for a responsible new owner, who understands about dogs behavior and is willing training him.Aquila loves activities: catch ball, run, go to a hiking, hunt, but he is not a pet, he is a wild dog.

Story
Meet Journey – A Loyal German Shepherd mix Girl Looking for Her Forever Home   Journey's name couldn't be more fitting, because she's been on quite a journey to find the family she deserves. She first came into one young man's life when he was just 15 years old. His parents thought that giving him the German Shepherd mix puppy he'd always wanted would keep him busy and out of trouble—and they were right. Journey was loved, cherished, and became his constant companion through his teenage years. Then reality hit. At 18, he had to move out on his own, and the only housing he could afford didn't allow dogs. Faced with the heartbreaking choice between homelessness and giving up his best friend, he searched everywhere for help. He drove to rescues and shelters, asked friends and family, and exhausted every option before finding Critter Cavalry Rescue.   Thanks to a devoted rescue foster with Critter Cavalry, Journey was welcomed into foster care and given everything she needed to start fresh. She has been spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, started on heartworm prevention, and is heartworm negative. Most importantly, she has been given another chance to find the forever family she deserves. At 3 years old and weighing about 50 pounds, Journey is everything you could hope for in a companion. She's smart, obedient, affectionate, and eager to be part of whatever you're doing. Whether it's a hike in the woods, a game of fetch, running errands, or simply helping with chores around the house, Journey is happiest when she's with her people. She absolutely adores everyone she meets. Adults, children, other dogs, and even cats are all friends in Journey's world. She has an enthusiastic, playful personality without being overwhelming, and one of her best qualities is her wonderful 'off switch.' After she's greeted everyone, explored the house, and made sure everything is in order, she's perfectly content to lie at your feet or rest her head in your lap for a peaceful nap until the next adventure begins.   Journey's greatest gift is her unwavering devotion. She bonds deeply with her people and will gladly follow you wherever life takes you. All she's ever wanted is someone to love and a place to call home. Her first family loved her enough to make the painful decision to give her the opportunity for a better future. Now it's time for Journey to find the family that will love her for the rest of her life.   If you're looking for a loyal, fun-loving, well-mannered best friend who is ready to fill your days with love and companionship, Journey may be the one you've been waiting for.   To learn more or apply to adopt Journey, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com. Story
Bambino — Ready to Find His People! Some puppies are meant to be your sidekick, your adventure buddy, your passenger in the car and your best friend—and Bambino is definitely one of those puppies! At just 5 months old and 38 pounds, Bambino is an adorable 80% German Shepherd/20% Husky mix who may grow to around 50 pounds when he is finished growing. He’s got the beautiful Shepherd look, those amazing ears, and a fun-loving personality packed into a manageable size. Bambino was adopted by a single gentleman who quickly realized that his busy work schedule and apartment lifestyle weren't the right fit for a young, active puppy. He made the responsible decision to ask Critter Cavalry Rescue to help find Bambino a home where he can truly have the life he deserves. And we think Bambino is going to make someone an incredible companion. He is a happy, confident puppy who approaches life with a “let's go!” attitude. He loves to play, enjoys a good case of the zoomies when he has room to run, and is happy to head out for a walk with his person on the other end of the leash. He is wonderful with other dogs and cats, loves meeting new people, and greets the world with a wagging tail and that adorable puppy smile. He also LOVES riding in the car, so if your idea of a good day includes grabbing your BFF and heading out for an adventure, Bambino is ready to ride shotgun! ❤️ A fenced yard and an active family would be ideal for him, along with people who have plenty of time to spend with their young dog. Bambino would happily join you for hiking, trails, outdoor adventures, morning jogs, errands or just whatever the day brings. He doesn't need to be entertained every second—he simply wants to be included. Most of all, Bambino needs a family who understands that bringing home a puppy is a commitment and who is ready to make him their forever boy. He has so much potential to grow into that wonderful dog who goes everywhere with you and becomes an important part of your family. We just need to find the people who are ready to make that commitment to him. Could Bambino be your next adventure buddy and lifelong BFF? To learn more or request an adoption application, email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com. We would love to tell you more about this special boy and help you see if Bambino might be the perfect fit for your family.   Raquel is a gorgeous, funny, super bright and loving pure bred German Shepherd girl who is 4 months old and 43 pounds.  Found as a stray just after the 4th of July weekend this girl was never claimed by anyone from social media and postings by  the small town shelter.  No collar, not spayed and a little underweight, this girl was just released to Critter Cavalry Rescue to find her the best GSD savvy home ever.  Raquel is just a baby and will blossom under the right home environment into a gorgeous 80+ pound girl when fully grown. This girl is a working breed that will require lots of exercise and mental stimulation daily.  A fenced yard is an absolute requirement and qualification to meet in order to be considered to adopt her.  She would be fine with another dog in the home or even cats.  She is destined to be a fun companion and puppy to raise and mold into all the potential that we see already exists in her.  She is not skittish and she is smart smart smart!!!   If you are interested please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   Tell us where you live please; city and state.       ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
