Luke is a 5-year-old Malinois mix who came to the shelter as a stray on 11/11. He is a stunning, confident boy with loose, relaxed body language and a load of energy.Luke is very treat motivated and knows “sit” and “shake.” While he can be hyper in his kennel, he is easy to leash, handle, and walk. Despite his excitement, he walked calmly past other dogs with no reactivity. He may need a little practice taking treats gently, but he’s eager to please and quick to learn.Luke has not been dog-tested yet, so introductions to other pets should be done carefully. This super stud is ready for a home that can match his energy, give him guidance, and enjoy his affectionate, eager-to-please personality.As with any new pet, we recommend following the 3-3-3 guideline when helping Luke settle into his new home: 3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to learn the routine, and 3 months to feel fully at home.

We adopted Luna from the Humane Society when she was just three months old. She is a very sweet, loving dog who has been a joy to train. Luna still has her playful puppy energy, gets along wonderfully with other dogs and children, and hardly ever barks. She’s eager to please and truly doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. It is with heavy hearts that we are looking to rehome her. Unfortunately, my allergies have made it difficult to manage her shedding, and with our busy schedules we haven’t been able to give her the daily walks and attention she deserves. We can tell she’s not as happy as she could be, and we want more for her. Luna is a wonderful companion who will thrive with a family that has the time and space to love her as much as she will love them. She has even done great on road trips and travels well. She truly is a special dog, and we hope to find her the perfect forever home.

I have had Rogan since he was a puppy (about 5-6 months) and he is currently 5 years old. I am looking for a new home for him because I have taken on a new role within my business that has me traveling much more and it is taken away from the love, care, and attention Rogan needs. He is a beautiful dog and is high energy. Looking for the right home to provide him the attention, companionship, and the space he needs to thrive. He loves to cuddle, to play fetch, and long walks. He is house trained and crate trained. He likes to be by your side when you are around. This has been a tough decision but with my current situation/work schedule, it is not sustainable and I believe this is what is best for him.
